Almost too good to be true, slipped in nice and easy to my 2009 F550 4X4. I did find that in order to reduce vibration I ended up drilling a hole through the floor pan. But then again this is mounted in a Commercial Truck that is used off road, I feel under normal driving conditions it would work as described.
Recommend? YES

RAM BASE V2
Pros: no drilling required
Cons: not enough research on advertised product.
The only reason the product rating is low and would not recommend is because this mount will not fit the new 2010 Ford Pickups. We had to send back to hopefully get the correct one. If it were the correct base it would have gotten a 5 and a yes on recommend.

DIDN'T FIT RIGHT
Pros: nice finish and strong
Cons: bad fit
I have a f250 2009 super duty and I've tried one way or another and wasn't able to fit bolt on one side seems like the angle was right, holes were at the right place but angle was bad. Went to the local heavy truck dealer and bought a high graded bolt longer of 1/4 inche and was able to attach the support. Last support for my ford escape was perfect, This one not as good.

Pros: no drilling
GPS City shipped this out straight away via Canada Post. Arrived as advertised and everything fit the new truck. Also a reasonable price!

Cons: some weld spatter under the finish.
Perfect fit, simple installation and exactly the end result you are looking for. A strong solid base for your mount.
