The RAM-B-141-1290 RAM Mount Steel Flex Arm Mount consists of a RAM 1 inch diameter RAM ball on a 12 inch long Steel Semi-Rigid Flexible Rod with RAM 2.5 inch diameter Round Plate Base.
The RAM 1 inch ball end is designed connect to any of the RAM 1 inch sockets found on the RAM arm series.
RAM Mount Design:The RAM-PF-585-12 Coiled Steel Semi-Rigid Flex Arm is 12 inches long and has a 0.25 inch NPT male thread either end. One end of the flex arm is connected to the RAM-B-218-1 post end which is a RAM 1 inch diameter ball on a 0.25 inch NPT female thread, and the other is connected to a 2.5 inch diameter plate with 90 degree 0.25 inch NPT female thread.
Movement of the Steel Semi-Rigid Flex Arm:It is important to note that the 12 inch semi-rigid flex arm found on this mount is designed to hold an approximate weight of up to 2 lbs. With this in mind, the rod can be bent once it has been mounted. It is designed to be bent and moved into position once the base has been mounted into place.
Part Number Correction:When RAM Mounts first announced the 12 inch Steel Semi-Rigid Flex Pipe with Ball Mount, the part number was RAM-B-141B-9012. RAM Mounts have now changed the part number to RAM-B-141B-1290. To avoid any confusion, we will keep both part numbers on our web site for a short time, but now you can only purchase this part as the RAM-B-141B-1290 Steel 12 inch Flex Pipe with Ball Mount.
