PERFECT ETREX BIKE MOUNT
Cons: no assembly guide
Good and secure mount for the Garmin eTrex GPS. I use the mount on my mtb for cross-country rides and I feel confident that the GPS will stay in the mount during the whole ride.
Recommend? YES

WORKS GREAT!

Shorter screw to mount and adapter. Longer screw for handle bar clamp. That was not in instructions.

BETTER THAN I EXPECTED!
Pros: sturdy, strong plastics, nicely molded.
Cons: made my other gps mount jealous.
This mount was everything I was looking for and more! It fits perfectly onto my bike, and didn't budge once (That's what I call a feat, considering my choice of locations).
I was a little worried that I did not put it together properly and there were a few bits left over, but watching a short video online, I was able to deduct that that is just "bonus hardware"
At first the plastic didn't seem as sturdy as advertised, but that once again surprised me. It was pliable and held up to being constantly abused when I took my GPS out, and placed it back into, it's little cradle.
Recommend? YES

After testing on road rides amounting to several hundred miles on smooth and on rough pavement, I can say that this unit does the job beautifully. The cradle design is very secure and still very convenient. It also decouples the GPS from road vibration which would otherwise shake the batteries loose and interfere with GPS operation. Pass on the Garmin bicycle mount (which replaces the battery door) and buy this one.
