The RAM Vehicle Mount Base is the starting point in building a strong, sturdy mount for your vehicle. The RAM-VB-129 No Drill Laptop Vehicle Mount Base has been designed specifically for use in the following vehicles:
- Dodge Charger (2011)
- Dodge Charger Police Package (2011)
The base installs quickly and easily to the existing bolts connecting the passengers seat to the vehicle floor. The base plate mounts in a position to maximize the passengers leg space while also creating a foundation to connect a RAM swing arm mounting solution by using the telescoping pole (not included).
VERY IMPORTANT INSTALLATION SAFETY NOTE:
Improper installation of this base will cause a fault in the sensors built into the passenger side seat. It is crucial that the buyer or installer take special care when raising the front passenger seat or loosening the mounting bolts. Lifting the seat more than necessary to access nuts on underside of seat track will cause a fault. If buyer or installer is uncomfortable with the process of putting this kit in their vehicle, RAM strongly recommends not attempting to do so. We offer a variety of mounting solutions that can be either bolted down or utilize other mounting locations. This mount was designed for police and fleet vehicles that typically have only the driver occupying the vehicle. Contact DaimlerChrysler or a factory authorized technician for information on your vehicle and passenger side airbag deactivation should you decide to proceed.
