CATRIKE GPS

Pros: priced just right.
Cons: none

The fit is perfect on my Expedition. Part quality is very tight, no rattles or squeaks, the rail mount really holds on. The Garmin Dakota 20 is fully adjustable with just on fastener, perfect. Delivery was too fast.

A BIT TALL

Pros: secure, stable
Cons: adds a lot of height

The mount+holder make the item being held stick up quite a bit from the bar.

MOUNT

just what I needed to hold my g.p.s on my bicycle when I go geocaching. You will also need the cradle to hold your g.p.s . but you will need something to thicken the handle bar on your bicycle because the radius of the mount is a bit bigger.I used a small piece of rubber tube.

RAM BICYCLE MOUNT

Pros: strong and compact. inexpensive.

A bit large radius for a standard bicycle handlebar. You will need something to thicken the bar. I used duct tape. Tight enough.

EXCELLENT PRODUCT

Pros: rugged
Cons: wrong size screw provided

Holds my Explorist 600 very securely on a jet ski.

Only negative is that the package of various screws to put this together and install did not provide the properly size screw and nut to secure it to the handle bar. Had to purchase them on my own.

THIN PLASTIC - TOO FRAGILE

Pros: i love the concept
Cons: thin/weak/easily broken

Simply tore off handlebars with minor accidental force, the morning after first use The plastic that wraps around the handle bar is too thin... poor design... not recommended... not typical RAM mount quality.

DESCENT MOUNT

Pros: simple, versitile, solid
Cons: doesnt fit well

Initially annoyed with this mount as it didn't fit my MTB handlebar, and no I don't have an oddball bike, I have a middle of the road, fairly basic Kona XC with a standard handlebar that's the same size as probably 80 % of the mountain bikes out there..... However! with the help of a small piece of old innertube wrapped around the handle bar I think this became the best mount I've ever seen. The rubber helped to stop any spinning of the mount on the bar, and IMHO actually acted as a shock absorber for the Garmin Colorado GPS and cradle I mounted on it. All in all a very pleasing first experience with a RAM product

NO INSTRUCTIONS AND PROVIDED SCREWS NOT ACCEPTABLE

Pros: ram mounts are good quality if you can get them on
Cons: no instructions, screws provided not acceptable.

As others have stated, if you buy this you will not receive any instructions and more than likely the screw for the plate will not hold the plate in place. I also had to go to the hardware store to find a screw that would actually work. Unacceptable.

PN-20 MOUNT BRACKET REPLACEMENT

Pros: oem pn-20 mount replacement

I originally had one of these that came bundled with my DeLorme PN-20 mount, but it got sheared off in a bicycle fall. I thought I'd need to replace the whole mount until I found this site with RAM parts of all types.

PERFECT FOR MY MOUNTAIN BIKE

Used this for my colorado 300 Cradle (RAM-HOL-GA27U) purchased at the same time. Came with all the hardware I needed and the two work together perfectly. I don't want it to move while riding so adjustment is no concern (set and forget). Make sure to check your handlebar diameter (1"-1.1") and you'll be fine. I ride single track with rough terrain and have had no problems so far (first season with the mount) and have taken a few spills with it.

ALSO A GREAT PRODUCT (3 OF 3)

Cons: none

Used this in conjunction with the surface mount cradle for mounting my Magellan Explorist 500 on my mountain bike. It fit well even though it may not have been its intended purpose.

TRIAL & ERROR

Cons: missing attachment screw, messy set-up

Mounted Rail mount to by bike but had to supply my own screw to attach the 360 pronged plate to the base top. Then mounted GPS holder to the attached mount. As the angle of the mount is fixed by the base it was trial and error to get the right angle to match with my bike's front bag. Every adjustment required a complete remounting. Finally I drilled a center hole in the GPS holder and can now change the angle with one screw.

WORKS WELL

Pros: inexpensive and simple
Cons: too large dia. for most bicycles.use electric tape

This works well on a bicycle.....it probably is a little too light duty for a motorcycle

CONS

This item came with a mixture of bolts and lock nuts, none of which really worked very well. So I had to make a trip to the hard ware store to get something to work. Also the Rail mount is too big for my handle bars and since it's not adjustable I had to rig up something to fill the gap. No instructions were provided.

NICE MOUNT BUT THICK

Pros: nice material. won't break.
Cons: too thick.

The Diamond base mount is made of good plastic. The only problem is the thickness it adds to whatever cradle you attach to it. Could be slimmer.
