GREAT MOUNT
Pros: easily moved to any position for perfect view Cons: a little bulky when i want to store it
The universal ball mount lets me place my GPS in any spot on the dash or windshield so its out of the way but perfect view when I need it. The suction cup is strong and hasn't failed yet. It will stick to almost any surface.

AWESOME SUCTION CUP CRADLE MOUNT
Pros: all Cons: none
This suction cup cradle mount works fantastic. The suction cup holds on the windshield through all temperature extremes and the dependable RAM arm moves to any position and holds as expected.

VERY GOOD AND VERSATILE CRADLE MOUNT
Pros: very solid, works well (good suction) & versatile Cons: n/a
I originally purchased a Goose neck cradle to install in our pickup winshield. It was working well, but as I also have a motorcycle (Kawa Concours 14) with a (ball RAM system on it), I could not easily switch my GPS (GPSMAP 96C) from one place to another, as the cradle was screwed to the the goose neck mount.
After puting my comments online a representative contacted me to propose me to switch to this one, which I did and it was a great move. A little bity more expensive than the goose neck, but a lot more interchangable.
The concept with balls allow you to easily leave the suction base in the car and move the arm to your other RAM (ball) system like the one I have on my motorcycle.
Overall very solid, works well and would recommend to anyone.
Also great service from Gpscity and very fast delivery. Thanks

VERY FUNCTIONAL CRADLE MOUNT
Pros: well built, durable.
I use the RAM-B-166U with a RAM-HOL-MP!U Multi-Pad Note pad holder. I mount beside my GPS with notes recorded for quick reference. The installation is not only easy but very secure and stays exactly in the position I put it which allows for safe reference of my notes.

WORKS GREAT
Cons: none
I use this mount to secure my GPS on a boat. I do not mount it to the windshield, instead I put it on smooth fiberglass part of my dashboard. It has never moved or unattached at all, even pounding through rough water on a small boat. The GPS I use is quite heavy so I think this would hold anything it is intended for. The locking suction cup is the way to go, would never buy another type of mount again given the option.

HEAVY DUTY SUCTION CUP MOUNT
Pros: very heady duty holds hand held vhf radio securely Cons: none
Wish I had know about this when I bought the std duty suction cup mount from ram, it crack the center piece near the bolt.(think the -30 cold got it or I snugged it up too tight, was warranteed but worry it will happen again) This one is aluminum, not plastic and much more secure, Bigger suction cup too

VERY SECURE AND PORTABLE
Pros: easy to secure/remove.
The suction mount is very easy to attach to any flat, smooth surface and provides an extremely secure mount for a high-profile GPS unit that I use on my Polaris Ranger. I drive the Ranger pretty aggressively on rugged desert terrain and this mount has never failed.

USED SOLELY FOR MARINE USE ... WORKS GREAT !
I use this mount for on my outrigger racing canoe. I have it suctioned to the smooth gel coat surface and I have no fear of it coming off. I have yet to get out on some really rough water but the 'smack' tests I've conducted seemed quite positive. I do keep a safety leash just in case something does happen and it plummets to the bottom of the lake/ocean. My only qualm with it is the weight, but I was aware of that going into this.
