The RAM-B-141-9012 RAM Mount Camera Surface Mount consists of a RAM 1 inch diameter RAM ball and socket system on a 12 inch long Steel Semi-Rigid Flexible Rod with RAM 2.5 inch diameter Round Plate with male Camera Thread.
The male 1/4''-20 thread, centered on a 2.5 inch diameter plate, connects to the standard female thread found on the bottom on most CCTV, video and still cameras. The plate adds support to the thread, by allowing the camera to rest on the plate, creating a stable connection with the camera.
Universal Camera Mount Cradle Design:
The RAM-B-202A RAM Mount Powder Coated Marine Grade Aluminum Universal Camera Plate has a 1.0 inch diameter Rubber Ball connected at right angles to a 2.5 inch diameter Plate with a centered 1/4''-20 thread. The plate adds support to thread, allowing a more stable connection with the camera.
Note: The male 1/4'' long, 1/4''-20 thread in the middle of the 2.5'' diameter plate will connect to the standard female thread found at the bottom of most still and video cameras. An alternative to this camera mounting system is the RAM-B-237 Male 1/4''-20 Threaded Ball.
Universal Camera Mount Arm Design:
 The RAM-B-201 RAM Mount Marine Grade Aluminum Dual Socket Arm is a 1 inch B size Ball Socket Arm with open socket ends. The arm is 3.0 inches long between socket centers and is finished with a Black Powder Coating. The side of the arm includes a tightening knob which allows you to open and close the socket ends. Universal Camera Mount Base Design:The RAM-B-141B-1290 RAM Mount Semi-Rigid Flex Arm System consists of a RAM 1 inch diameter size ball at the end of a 12 inch steel semi-rigid flex arm with round plate base. The RAM-PF-585-12 Coiled Steel Flex Arm is 12 inches long and has a 0.25 inch NPT male thread either end. One end of the flex arm is connected to the RAM-B-218-1 post end which is a RAM 1 inch diameter ball on a 0.25 inch NPT female thread, and the other is connected to a 2.5 inch diameter plate with 90 degree 0.25 inch NPT female thread.
Movement of the Steel Semi-Rigid Flex Arm:It is important to note that the 12 inch semi-rigid flex arm found on this mount is designed to hold an approximate weight of up to 2 lbs. With this in mind, the rod can be bent once it has been mounted. It is designed to be bent and moved into position once the base has been mounted into place.
Part Number Correction:When RAM Mounts first announced the 12 inch Steel Flex Pipe Mount, the part number was RAM-B-141-9012. RAM Mounts have now changed the part number to RAM-B-141-1290. To avoid any confusion, we will keep both part numbers on our web site for a short time, but now you can only purchase this part as the RAM-B-141-1290 Steel 12 inch Flex Pipe Mount.
