SCREW TOO LONG!!!!
Pros: strong
Cons: screw way too long
I had to remove the screw and cut it down to half the size. It is far too long.

GOOD - BUT NEEDS A SLIGHT ADJUSTMENT
Pros: good for using with gopro tripod mount
Cons: might need a slight adjustment with allen wrench
I used this product for connecting to a GoPro tripod mount. The first product sent had an off center bolt - this was quickly replaced by GpsCity (GREAT customer service). The replacement mount was great. However, I did use an allen wrench to drive in the bolt about 1/2-1 turn so that the GoPro mount would mount flush. I have used this mount in conjunction with the RAP-B-200-12U swivel arm for GoPro mounting - time to buy another set for the other camera!

GREAT MOUNT BUT SOME MINOR MODIFICATIONS
Pros: great mount with minor mods
The screw thread is too long and when tighten to the base of the camera there is an excess screw showing, and camera base does not sit flush on the Ram mount base. Did not want to cut the excess screw so I cut a round silicon rubber 2.34mm (0.0925inch) thick to the dia of the ram base and made a hole in the centre of the silicon rubber for the screw through. Fits well and gives much better grip to the base of the camera and the ram mount. Prevents scratches from camera base rubbing on ram mount should the screw loosen also. The rubber ball end stays secure on any 1" ram mount.

The item came quickly and was exactly what I was needing. I had to cut the threads so that It would fit into my Go Pro adapter.

NOT FOR EVERY CAMERA
The thread is too long for my Panasonic camera but good for my Flip camera. I did find that mounting my camera to the handlebars does not deliver good quality video when riding off road. Helmet cams seem to be the way to go.
Recommend? NO OPINION

GREAT CAMERA MOUNT

The mini plate camera mount is perfect for my digital camera. It hold my camera secure, and using it with the Ram base mount & med arm it is not only securely mounted, but also very easy to change camera angles

I use this Mini plate mount, along with my other ram mount base & arm to securely mount my digital camera. A must have!!

BOLT TO LONG TO ATTACH CAMERA
Pros: compact base , easy to carry with you.
Cons: bolt to long and not flat on top.
The 1/4 -20 bolt is not flat on top it is to long and it is at a slight angle. I had too purchase a couple thin rubber washers so the camera would fit properly to the camera. I tried to tighten the bolt. I purchased this item because of the 5 star reviews.

BEST B SIZE CAMERA MOUNT
Love this camera mount. Holds securely and the surface area is great for supporting what you mount to it. I'm not actually using it for a camera, but I am using it for photography gear mounted on top of a video rig. Does a great job.

MINI CAMERA MOUNT
Pros: it works
Cons: none
I have the RAM larger camera mount and I got it here some years back, this one is more for todays smaller digital camera’s, does a great job, I use this on my motorcycle for camera and sometimes a gps, its great, if it works on a M/C it will work on anything !
