The RAM-271-ASU1 UMPC (Ultra Mobile PC) RAM Mount is a Marine Grade Aluminum Mount with a Round Pole Rail Clamp Base and RAM Plastic Cradle for the Asus R2H UMPC. The mount is designed with a 1.5 inch diameter RAM ball and socket system that has adjustment point at the cradle and base. With a twist of the arm knob, you can move the Asus R2H UMPC mount to your optimum viewing position.
Asus R2H Mobile UMPC Mount Cradle Design:
The RAM-HOL-ASU1 High Strength Plastic Cradle is designed to hold the Asus R2H Mobile Tablet PC. The back of the cradle is connected to the four hole AMPS pattern on the RAM round plate with ball. The ball gives the cradle the ability to connect to the RAM arm on this mount and also creates a ball and socket joint allowing you to move the cradle into many different viewing locations. All cables can stay connected to the unit while in the RAM cradle.
Asus R2H Mobile UMPC Mount Arm Design:
 The RAM-201 RAM Mount Dual Socket Arm is a 1.5 inch C size Ball Socket Arm made of Marine Grade Aluminum. The arm is 4.63 inches long between socket centers and is finished with a Black Powder Coating. The side of the arm includes a tightening knob which allows you to open and close the socket ends. For a layout of the dimensions RAM-201 arm, take a closer look with the RAM-201 Design Drawings (pdf file).
Asus R2H Mobile UMPC Mount Base Design: The RAM-271-12 RAM Mount Marine Grade Aluminum Round Pipe Clamp Base, with 1.5 inch diameter Rubber Ball, connects to a pipe tubing diameter in the range of 1 1/4 to 1 7/8 inches. To connect the base, simply place the two halves around the pipe to be mounted and thread the bolts through the base holes. Now tighten the two screws equally at the sides of the round clamp base, careful not to over tighten.

My fourth purchase from gpscity. Previous 3 went great and I expect this one will as well. I do feel rather sheepish though. This last week I've been combing the net for a golf GPS. For some reason this evening the lights went on - gpscity. Thank goodness I remembered you folks. I'll never know what took so long though. Anyway, I got to you and I feel much better now. :) Don
