RAM AQUA BOX CRADLE WIDE
Cons: only complaint is the dimples on the flex screen.
Very nice setup. The flex screen works very well in winter snow conditions for snowmobiling. I installed a Ski-Doo heating element on the inside of it and it work extremely well. In todays quality and engineering, why is there manufacturing dimples on the screen? There not a problem for viewing as I thought they may be when I first recieved the unit.

VERY BIG BOX
Cons: too bulky
I got this yesterday and I was suprise how big it is. I don't know how its going to look on my motorcycle. Other thing is cable connection. In the center of the box there is a circle and "punch out" is written on it. However I am not able just to punch it out. Looks like i will have to drill a hole on it. Shipping from gpscity is great.

VERSITILE WATERPROOF CONTAINER
Pros: inexpensive, versitile Cons: soft plastic, can overheat gps if left in sun
Great cheap alternative for a motorcycle gps system. Fits perfectly on a ST1100 between heli bars. Bought this 3 days before I left on a trip and received it in 2. Unfortunately they didn't send the latch and had to use elastic bands, but they sent a latch promptly and I found it waiting for me upon returning from my trip. Beats spending $500+ on a separate motorcycle gps. Just pop in you car gps and use the touch screen through the plastic front.

GREAT WATERPROOF MOUNT FOR PNA AND EXTRA POWER
For my navigation on the lakes I bought this box. It can house my 4,7 inch PNA with watermaps and extra power to operate many hours. The box looks very strong. Next year I'll test the combination on the lake. Till now I'm very glad. The 3 pixs on the screen is not so nice.

EXCELLENT WATERPROOF COVER
Pros: easy to install, use, and remove when done Cons: gps got a little warm during extended usage. ok!
I bought this expressly because I was heading from SoCal to Wisconsin, within the thunderstorm season, to protect my 1450LMT. I was not disappointed at all! Not only did it protect my investment from the rain, it allowed me to use the GPS without any problems at all! I bought one for my friends who had just purchased a GPS after seeing my own work so well. This is an excellent investment to protect your GPS in weather.

NICE WATERPROOF BOX
Pros: totally waterproof. unlimited mounting options. Cons: a little large. wiring not easily removable.
I purchased this to use with my Tom Tom 540XXL. The 540 has a large screen/frame and it's not easy to find a waterproof holder for it. This worked awesome. Of course, with an item like this, some kind of customizing should be expected(such as drilling the wiring access hole in the back & using the supplied foam padding as a support/backer for the GPS unit). Remember to order the RAM-B-202U round plate w/1" ball to use with it. To mount it to my 2005 Triumph Tiger, I used the RAM-B-367U handlebar clamp base along with the RAM-B-201U-A short double socket arm for the complete setup. Rigged up a nice coiled cord with a powerlet plug out the back. It was clean looking & quick to remove. Rode in all day downpours in mid June this year from WI to Nova Scotia & the GPS was completely protected. We even had some 80+ degree weather coming back through Chicago & the GPS never faulted due to the heat. Although, if I did not expect any rain for long periods, I would have used the RAM- HOL-T010U cradle for the Tom Tom 500 series GPS's.

AQUA BOX FOR USE ON MOTORCYCLE
Pros: waterproof,durable,touchscreen works well, keyhole
I bought this box so that I could mount my GPS on a motorcycle and carry it with me while kayaking. The box is well made, and fits the wide screen Garmin very well.
The touch screen still works well using the box - no complaints there. Overall, I'm happy with the box. The only problem is seeing the screen in direct sunlight, which has nothing to do with the box or silicone front.
I also like the keyhole where you can add a lock or S-clip to assure the box can't pop open while running down the road. I also use the clip in the keyhole to attach the box to my life jacket.
I can't hear the GPS talk to me while riding down the road. The box is too tight to let the sound out of course. I can barely hear the voice at a stop.
The box is versatile for any outdoor activity.

GREAT WATERPROOF MOUNT
Pros: great kit. love the silicone screen Cons: bit more foam for a secure fit of gps
This product is great and I would recommend it without hesitation. The only think I would like to see ia a bit thicker foam to secure the GPS. The box is very secure, and DRY! I love that the silicone face allows me to use the GPS touch screen funtion. Great piece of kit for my motorcycle rider and I would strongly recommend it over spending over $600 for a waterproof motorcycle GPS!!

THIS AQUA BOX ROCKS!
Pros: great weather sealing and functionality. Cons: nothing that can't be worked around.
I purchased this Aqua Box to protect my Garmin Nuvi 755 while on the motorcycle. I couldn't justify spending over $600 on a new, waterproof GPS when the one I have for the Jeep works just fine. Aqua Box was the answer. The different thicknesses of included foam material will make any GPS fit like it was made for it. The "Flex-Lens" allows easy touch screen navigation and is replaceable at a very reasonable price. The only drawback is that once you feed the GPS' power cable through the back of the box, it is held captive by the ball mount and not easily removable to use without the Aqua Box. You must either disassemble the ball mount (4 screws), buy a second power cord or keep the GPS in the Aqua Box and adapt the other vehicle to the Ram system. This is only an issue if you want to use the GPS without the Aqua Box. All said, this produce does a fantastic job of protecting a GPS or any other electronic gadget from the elements. Highly recommended.

I SAVED $800. BY USING THE AQUA BOX
Pros: portable allowing me to use on other vehicles Cons: a tad bulky
I wanted a GPS for my 2008 Roadstar silverado S. I ordered the Aqua box and completed the job by installing the brake mount Ram cradle. I was looking for a better way to secur my Garmin 265W than what came stock with the Aqua box so I purchased 2X 99cent mouse pads that I cut to measure to fit the box then I hollowed them out so that my Garmin is firmly in place and snugly protected back and all sides. Looks great and works great.

CAN'T BEAT THE BOX FOR PROTECTION!
Pros: strong construction, waterproof, stable as a rock Cons: inadequate padding (need thick one x 2 + others)
Couple of quick things out of the way. I knew going in that Garmin 3790t has a capacitive screen so once inside the box, you were looking only since touching doesn't work. Yes, I had to fab up my own padding (used padding from a laptop's packaging) - still, no biggie. Big issue is that that dadgum GPS gets so scalding hot you can barely hold it after it's been running for a while inside that terrific box. So I now have a waterproof, mountable box for something and I bought a Delorme PN-60wSE w/Spot to use on the bike instead of the 3790t...I really wanted it to work - oh well. If you need your product protected from weather, this is a very strong option - if your product overheats then might be best to find a product that is waterproof and vibration resistant or my guess is to be prepared for a less than expected life span.

GOOD CONSTRUCTION!
Pros: lockable. waterproof. Cons: makes device inside really hot.
The product picture is a little deceiving. My Nuvi 765T only takes up about 2/3 the space. You have to cut out holes in the back for cables. Little circle piece says push out. It didn't. I was hoping to use this all the time because I can lock it on the bike. My GPS got really hot inside. Not sure I would want to subject it to the heat of the box. Nicely done as far as being waterproof.

HIGH QUALITY AQUA BOX
Pros: good seal, strong construction, good fit Cons: manufacturing marks on lens
This Aqua Box fits my TomTom 930 perfectly... I will be using this box on a motorcycle, and coupled with the rest of the RAM Mount system, I expect complete stability. I haven't had a chance to take it out for a ride yet, but soon!
The ONLY negative thing I'd say about this is that the lens has a couple manufacturing marks, I'm guessing from the injection process... They are round circles located about 2 inches in from either edge. I don't know if this is the way it's supposed to be, and doesn't have a big impact on the usability of the case.

GREAT WATERPROOF CONTAINER!
Cons: limited mounting bolt pattern.
The box is great! Solid in every way. It fit my Garmin 1490T perfect! I bought it to mount to my motorcycle techmount brand mounting bracket. It works perfect! The bolt pattern didn't quite match up, but that was a small hurdle to overcome. The box is very easy to use. I wish that the knock out on the back could be replaced by some kind of rubber grommet so that it would remain sealed. But if I had to choose all over, I would definitely buy the same product again.

WORKS GREAT - A TOTAL SOLUTION FROM THE GROUND UP
Pros: integrated locking tab Cons: knockout on the back
I bought this case for my motorcycle to use a non motorcycle gps and keep it protected from the elements. Everything from the handlebar mounting hardware to the positioning arm to the case to the lock tab all worked as one unit perfectly (of course) and I am very satisfied with the entire product line. My only criticism is with the knockout on the back. While the knockout was easy to get out, the circular rings that the base plate mounts to had to be cut by hand to accommodate the power chord for whatever is inside.

GOOD PRODUCT BUT WAY TOO BIG FOR GARMIN NUVI
Pros: good, sturdy construction Cons: too big for an average gps
Well, this a very nice and well built box, buts its way too big for Garmin NUVI 780. It is positioned as a perfect match for such GPS units but once I received it i could not believe how huge it was. So check box diminishions before you buy it. The picture is quite misleading. I had to return the box and order smaller one. Return was handled fast and smoothly. So 3 stars is only for the box size. Pros: rugged Cons: renders ipod useless.
I got this for my iPod. However once I reach highway speed (90km/h +) my iPod begins to malfunction due to vibration. The case does not absorb vibrations rendering my iPod useless on the road, possibly damaging my iPod over an extended period. It is also difficult to use the buttons thru the thick plastic cover, and the scroll wheel doesn't work at all. I'm back to just putting my iPod in my pocket. Too bad! I really wanted this to work!

GREAT PRODUCT
I bought the Aquabox to mount a standard car GPS (Garmin 765T) on my motorcycle. The first trip involved 3-4 light showers and a heavy downpour. The Aquabox performed very well, not a bit of moisture inside the mount. I had to add some extra foam to get the GPS out to the front of the mount but once in place the clear front works great with the touch screen. Bought a second power cord for the car as you have to take the mount apart to get cable out.

BULLETPROOF, IDIOTPROOF, WATERPROOF
Pros: waterproof, strong and secure. Cons: gets pushed by the wind, requires 2nd power cable
I use this with a Garmin Nuvi 250w on my motorcycle. The installation is easy, and the routing for the cable is waterproof. It holds the GPS much more securely than the regular RAM mount, though I had to order extra foam to get it to sit in the box properly. The trick is to get the gasket part of the clear cover over the lip on the front to get it waterproof. 5 hours of heavy downpour and not a drop got through. 2 small downsides though. 1) Extended Interstate riding without a windshield will push the box back toward you, so you have to push it back once in a while. 2) The cable access means I have to take the mount apart if I want to use the same cable in my car. I bought another adapter for the car off eBay.

AQUA BOX
Well put together box which is strong but light. The flex screen will allow you to access buttons on a gps unit without any problems. The base mount was easy to put on. Only problems are three small dots on the flex screen which are a little annoying, but not enough to not buy one. Hope they will fix that in the future. Needs an instuction manual to show how to put it together and where to run your cables out the back. It looks like I am going to have to drill, but where. All in all the box will do what it is intended to do, keep your gadgets save and secure from the elements.
