The RAM-B-149Z-AP4 Apple iPod Touch G1 Series Motorcycle RAM Mount is a Marine Grade Aluminum Mount with a Zinc Coated U-Bolt Rail Base and RAM Custom Plastic Cradle. The mount is designed with a RAM 1 inch diameter patented rubber ball and socket system that has adjustment point at the cradle and base. With a twist of the arm knob, you can move the Apple iPod Touch G1 Series mount to your optimum viewing position.

Apple iPod Touch G1 Mount Options:

Apple iPod Touch G1 Mount Cradle Design:
 The RAM-HOL-AP4 Apple iPod touch 1st Generation RAM Mount Cradle is a High Strength Plastic Composite Cradle designed specifically to hold the Apple iPod touch G1 Series units including the Apple iPod touch 8GB (G1), iPod touch 16GB (G1) and Apple iPod touch 32GB (G1).
The cradle is open at the top and bottom to allow you to connect head phones and required cables plus use all of the required buttons. When mounting the iPod touch cradle to a RAM Mount with their patented ball and socket system, you can easily display your iPod touch in landscape or portrait view.
Apple iPod Touch G1 Mount Cradle Plate:
 The RAM-B-238 Marine Grade Aluminum Diamond Plate is designed to connected to the back of the mount cradle. The diamond plate has a 1.0 inch diameter rubber ball connected at right angles to the plate, which connects directly to the 1 inch arm socket. The cradle includes the required hardware to connect the plate to the cradle. Apple iPod Touch G1 Mount Arm Design:
 The RAM-B-201 RAM Mount Marine Grade Aluminum Dual Socket Arm is a 1 inch B size Ball Socket Arm with open socket ends. The arm is 3.0 inches long between socket centers and is finished with a Black Powder Coating. The side of the arm includes a tightening knob which allows you to open and close the socket ends. Apple iPod Touch G1 Mount Base Design:
 The RAM-B-231Z RAM Mount Powder Coated Marine Grade Aluminum Rail Base has a 1.0 inch diameter Rubber Ball designed to sit at right angles to the mounting rail. The Zinc Coated metal U-Bolt and nuts included are designed it fit on most motorcycle round handlebars, or any circular rail or pipe with diameter from 3/4 to 1.0 inch.
To mount the rail base, place the top of the base on the rail and then slide the u-bolt around the rail, into the holes in the base top. Now tighten the screws onto the u-bolt until the base is clamped firmly. If you desire, you can now slot the black rubber covers over the exposed ends of the u-bolt.
Note: If you are looking to use this mount in the elements, we suggest the RAM-B-231 Stainless Steel U-Bolt Mount.
