The RAM-B-138-AP2 RAM Mount Marine Grade Aluminum Screw Down Plate Mount consists of the 1 inch diameter ball and socket system with RAM Plastic Cradle for the Apple iPod Nano G1 and G2.
iPod Nano Mount Cradle Design:
The RAM-HOL-AP2 Apple iPod nano RAM Mount Cradle is a High Strength Plastic Composite Cradle designed specifically to hold the Apple iPod nano 1st Generation and 2nd Generation including:
- Apple iPod nano 1GB (1st Generation)
- Apple iPod nano 2GB (1st Generation)
- Apple iPod nano 4GB (1st Generation)
- Apple iPod nano 2GB (2nd Generation)
- Apple iPod nano 4GB (2nd Generation)
- Apple iPod nano 8GB (2nd Generation)
The cradle is open at the top and bottom to allow you to connect head phones and required cables plus use all of the required buttons.

iPod Nano Mount Arm Design:The RAM Mount RAM-B-201 Dual Socket Arm is a B Size 1 inch Ball Dual Socket Arm, made of Marine Grade Aluminum. The arm is 3 inches long between socket centers and is finished with a Black Powder Coating. The side of the arm includes a tightening knob which allows you to open and close the socket ends.
iPod Nano Mount Base Design:
 The RAM-B-202 RAM Mount Marine Grade Aluminum Screw Down Plate has a 1.0 inch diameter Rubber Ball connected at right angles to a 2.5 inch diameter Plate. The plate has pre-drilled holes in the base plate, including the universal AMPS hole pattern. For a layout of the hole spacing and 1.0 inch rubber ball location, take a closer look with the RAM-B-202 Design Drawings (pdf file).
Mount Base Mounting Solutions:Mounting hardware is NOT included with the purchase of the RAM-B-202. A semi-permanent solution for mounting this base is by using the RAM double sided adhesive disk (RAM-202PSA). The disk will hold the RAM-B-202 base in many different locations without screws.
