Manufacturer Description |
The RAM-HOL-AP1 RAM Mount High Strength Plastic Cradle is designed to hold all of the Apple iPod units, except the Generation 2 20GB unit (touch wheel). The cradle has a cut away at the bottom to allow the connection of all required cables.
Placing your iPod into the cradle:
Place the bottom of the iPod into the cradle, and then push the top into the expandable 'arms' at the top of the cradle. The 'arms' will snap into place when the iPod is completely in the cradle.
Included with the Cradle:
The cradle includes a set of two nuts and bolts to connect the cradle to any of the RAM compatible mounts.
Apple iPod classic Mount Options:
To help ensure you have the Apple iPod Mount you require, take a look at the list of available RAM Apple iPod mounts on the Apple iPod Mount Page. Once you select your iPod model, you can select from iPod suction cup mounts, flat surface screw down iPod mounts, iPod car mounts, non skid weighted iPod mounts and more bundled with the RAM-HOL-AP1 Apple iPod Cradle.
Important Mounting Information:
If you already own this cradle, or any other cradle with a hole pattern that will match the RAM Diamond Plate hole spacing, then you require one of the RAM Assemblies listed below. If you are looking to purchase a complete mount for the above cradle, take a look at the Complete Mount list below.
This cradle does not ship with a RAM ball. To add a 1 inch ball to this cradle you need to purchase either the Aluminum Diamond Plate with 1 inch ball (RAM-B-238) or Plastic Diamond Plate with 1'' ball (RAP-B-238). If you need to mount this cradle on a 1.5'' ball system, you will require the Aluminum Diamond Plate (RAM-238).

My fourth purchase from gpscity. Previous 3 went great and I expect this one will as well. I do feel rather sheepish though. This last week I've been combing the net for a golf GPS.
