DECENT MOUNT
Pros: sturdy, ipod fits snugly
I bought this mount for my ipod classic (6g) to put in my car.
CONS: 1) I was most disappointed with this product because it's almost twice as deep as my ipod classic 6g. I didnt return it because I can put my ipod in leaning backwards and it wont move when I press any buttons. 2) It's a little to narrow to put in and remove easily so I sanded the inside of the vertical supports.

DEEPER THAN IPOD CLASSIC 160GB (7TH GEN)
Pros: high grade plastic, secure fit (save for the depth Cons: extra depth, top spring slightly covers audio jack
Works great. Rock solid RAM Mount quality we all love!
Mounting my iPod Classic 160GB (7th Gen) left a sizable space between the back of the iPod and the back "plate" of the mount... it is _probably_ still secure enough to be used that way w/o rattling around but it buggered me enough to add a 3/8" piece of my own foam to push the iPod flush with the front facing edge of the mount just to be sure and more aesthetically pleasing.
I like mounting it with the RAM Mount Plastic Handlebar Rail Mount and Direct Swivel Diamond Base because for something like this, I don't care for the classic RAM ball & socket arm complexity/flexibility.
The two parts came with all the nuts and bolts one requires.
The Rail Mount does require some of your own gasket material to have a secure fit on slick bar metal... but that's well documented on that product's comments.

IPOD CLASSIC CRADLE
Pros: firm grip Cons: firm grip
OK cradle but a bit difficult to get iPod in and out. Holder arms are rather stiff, and I have mine set into a friction mount so the force to spread the arms tends to dislodge the cradle. Once in though it is very secure.

GREAT MOTORCYCLE MOUNT
I was initially concerned that this mount would not hold up to bumpy road conditions on a motorcycle. After several rides and lots of bumpy roads the mount held the I-pod securely...no problems.

ALMOST EXCELLENT
Pros: does what it needs to do. Cons: not quite perfect.
This cradle works fine, with one exception: It doesn't provide quite enough clearance at the top for the headphone cord that connects the iPod to my car's stereo. This results in the side of the mount always being sprung off to the side a bit. Not really a problem, but then not exactly elegant either.

APPLEIPOD CRADLE
Pros: cost and function Cons: needs adhesive spacer pads
I would give it 4 out of 5. This unit holds my iPod Classic 30GB very securely and it can be removed without too much trouble [see other reviews]. I wish that spacer pads had been included to customize the fit which I had to do on my own. I ride a Harley Electra Glide and the unit functions flawless by minimizing any vibration from the bike.

OK HOLDER FOR IPOD 5TH GEN 30GB
Pros: integrates ipod with your ram setup. Cons: hard to remove ipod, doesn't work with ipod cases.
The holder is deep enough for the 60gb, so you should pad the back somehow if you have a smaller model so the iPod doesn't shift when you try to control it. The removal method is tricky, it takes two hands and the easiest method I've found so far is spread with thumbs, then push from the back with my fingers, it's a hassle but it works. There is space for the dock connector at the bottom, but if you have a smaller capacity iPod and it is able to "scoot" all the way to the rear, the dock connector will be blocked.

IPOD CRADLE MOUNT
Product works very well. Only complaint is that it's very difficult to put the ipod in the mount with 1 hand. Usually pinches your fingers OUCH! Once it's in there it works great. I have a concern that mounting and unmounting will eventually wear on the plastic that you bend each time, but it's holding up fine after a month.
