The RAM-HOL-AP8L RAM Mount high strength plastic locking cradle is design to hold the Apple iPad Tablet including;
- Apple iPad (Wi-Fi)
- Apple iPad (Wi-Fi and 3G)
The cradle has a cut away at the top and bottom to allow the connection of all required cables. The cradle also enables full access to the volume and mute button on the side along with the power button and headphones jack at the top of the iPad.
When mounting the iPad cradle to a RAM Mount with their patented ball and socket system, you can easily display your iPad in landscape or portrait view. Now you can enjoy your Apple iPad the way it was designed - very easily.
NOTE: The RAM-HOL-AP8LU Locking Cradle does not allow access to the iPad's camera lens while in use.

Important Mounting Information:
This cradle does not ship with a RAM ball. To add a 1 inch ball to this cradle you need to purchase the Aluminum Round Plate with 1 inch ball (RAM-B-202). If you need to mount this cradle on a 1.5'' ball system, you will require the Aluminum 2.5'' diameter Diamond Plate (RAM-202).

My fourth purchase from gpscity. Previous 3 went great and I expect this one will as well. I do feel rather sheepish though. This last week I've been combing the net for a golf GPS.
