The RAM-B-177-AP8 Apple iPad iPad 2 Series RAM Mount is a Marine Grade Aluminum Mount with a Glare Shield Clamp Base and RAM Custom Plastic Cradle. The mount is designed with a RAM 1 inch diameter patented rubber ball and socket system that has an adjustment point at the cradle, base and dual arm junction point. With a twist of the arm knob, you can move the Apple iPad iPad 2 mount to your optimum viewing position.
Apple iPad iPad 2 Mount Cradle Design:
 The RAM-HOL-AP8 Apple iPad and iPad 2 RAM Mount Cradle is a High Strength Plastic Composite Cradle designed specifically to hold the Apple iPad and iPad 2 Series units
The cradle has a cut away at the bottom to allow the connection of all required cables. The cradle also enables full access to the volume and mute button on the side along with the power button and headphones jack at the top of the iPad.
When mounting the iPad cradle to a RAM Mount with their patented ball and socket system, you can easily display your iPad in landscape or portrait view. Now you can enjoy your Apple iPad the way it was designed - very easily.
Apple iPad iPad 2 Mount Cradle Plate:
 The RAM-B-202 RAM Mount Marine Grade Aluminum Round Plate is designed to connected to the back of cradles with an AMPS hole pattern. The round plate has a 1.0 inch diameter rubber ball connected at right angles to the plate, which connects directly to the 1 inch arm socket. The cradle includes the required hardware to connect the plate to the cradle. Apple iPad iPad 2 Mount Arm Design:
 The RAM-B-201 RAM Mount Marine Grade Aluminum Dual Socket Arm is a 1 inch B size Ball Socket Arm with open socket ends. The arm is 3.0 inches long between socket centers and is finished with a Black Powder Coating. The side of the arm includes a tightening knob which allows you to open and close the socket ends. Apple iPad iPad 2 Mount Base Design:
The RAM-B-259U Powder Coated Marine Grade Aluminum U-Channel Clamp Base is designed to mount to the lip edge of a flat surface up to 1'' thick. Popular mounting edges include a car side window edge lip, table edge or glare shield on an airplance.
The base has two plastic bolts that, when tightened, clamp the base to the lip surface. A RAM 1'' diameter rubber ball is connected to the base allowing you to connect a RAM 1'' diamter arm socket and connection plates to create the perfect mount for your application.
