The RAM-HOL-AP8D2 RAM Mount high strength plastic iPad 2 Dock Cradle is design to hold the original Apple iPad 2 Tablet including;
- Apple iPad 2 (Wi-Fi)
- Apple iPad 2 (Wi-Fi and 3G)
The iPad docking cradle allows the installation of a factory charging cable with Apple 30 pin connector (not included). Once installed into the cradle base, an iPad 2 can be docked into the cradle with a quick and easy connection of the cable.
When mounting the iPad cradle to a RAM Mount with their patented ball and socket system, you can easily display your iPad in landscape or portrait view. Now you can enjoy your Apple iPad 2 the way it was designed - very easily.
Apple iPod, iPad and iPhone Identity and Mount Page:

Placing your Apple iPad 2 into the Cradle: Place the bottom of the iPad into the cradle, and then push the top into the expandable arm at the top of the cradle. The arm will snap into place when the iPad is completely in the cradle.
Included with the iPad Cradle:
The cradle includes a set of two nuts and bolts to connect the cradle to any of the RAM compatible mounts.

Important Mounting Information:
This cradle does not ship with a RAM ball. To add a 1 inch ball to this cradle you need to purchase the Aluminum Round Plate with 1 inch ball (RAM-B-202). If you need to mount this cradle on a 1.5'' ball system, you will require the Aluminum 2.5'' diameter Diamond Plate (RAM-202).

My fourth purchase from gpscity. Previous 3 went great and I expect this one will as well. I do feel rather sheepish though. This last week I've been combing the net for a golf GPS. For some reason this evening the lights went on - gpscity. Thank goodness I remembered you folks. I'll never know what took so long though. Anyway, I got to you and I feel much better now. :) Don
