FUNCTIONAL
Pros: will operate as intended Cons: very crudely manufactured.
This unit will function OK but the fit and finish is very crude. This is going on my $40K motorcycle and the finish just isn't up to par. I have sockets from previous years which are much more finished

JUST RIGHT ADAPTOR
Pros: solid construction Cons: none
I have this attached to the 18 inch flex arm, for connection to my iPad cradle with ball mount plate. I seems to be the best combination I have tried, which have been quite a few.

MORE SOLID
Pros: solid construction Cons: none
I used this socket to attach the flex shaft to an iPad cradle. This made for a more solid feel mount than other options I had already tried.

VERSATILITY ENHANCED
Pros: versatile Cons: none
I am using this attachment with the 18 inch Flex Shaft, mounted to a floor plate, to mount an iPad in our airplane. This unit attaches to the flex shaft and the ball mount on the iPad cradle. Seems to be the best combination I have tried, after a dozen attempts.

WELL BUILT
Pros: well made Cons: pretty expensive
Very solid construction. Haven't put it on the water for a season to test it out, but I doubt there will be any problems.
