How to connect the NMEA network to a Garmin GPSMAP 750S?

I have a Garmin 750S, if I buy the NMEA Starter Kit, what would I need to connect my boat engine to the network. Engine is Mercruiser 5.7 MFI Petrol and I would like to integrate Rev Counter & Oil Pressure.

If your engine is Mercury Smartcraft compatible then you can use the SmartCraft NMEA 2000 gateway to convert the data to NMEA 2000 so the Garmin 750S can read it. At this time we do not have access to the SmartCraft NMEA 2000 gateway. You will be able to get it or a similar device from your mercury dealer if your engine is compatible.

By what I can find you will need an engine with SN 0M300000 or higher and the smart craft system.
