Never had a bluetooth for anything. How do they connect to the source (Garmin Zumo 220) ?

You would need to go into the Bluetooth menu in the Garmin zumo 220 and set it to find a device. The hard part is getting your other device into pairing mode in most cases. You can find that information in the manual of the bluetooth device you are trying to connect. If you can not get the devices to connect feel free to ask for assistance.
