The Roadmate 300 is new to the Magellan RoadMate Autorouting GPS range.
The Magellan RoadMate 300 calculates your route and automatically updates your directions when you decide to take a detour. Easily download regions you plan to travel in, to the internal memory, from 2 CD ROMs containing advanced detailed mapping of the entire U.S. and Canada1. The internal memory holds up to 110 MB of map data including the built-in North American major roads network. Freely download unlimited map data to Secure Digital (SD) memory cards (sold separately) and create new maps before traveling in different regions. So, do away with bulky paper maps and the time it takes to log on to the Internet to get directions. The Magellan RoadMate 300 puts the ease and accuracy of vehicle navigation at your fingertips.
The new Magellan Trip Planner enables you to select multiple destination points from your address book before setting out on your driving adventure. Your Magellan RoadMate 300 will guide you from one point to the next without the need to select a new destination after each stop. Regardless of what town you're in you can get gas, visit the ATM, pick up a relative and stop by the florist before meeting the family at the restaurant to celebrate mom's birthday, all without re-entering destination points while on the journey.
An extensive list of points of interest (POI) in your selected area makes it easy to choose your destination quickly. POIs are organized in categories and sub-categories for easy browsing or searching by name. Find a specific gas station, restaurant, hotel, ATM, amusement park and more to easily navigate to the nearest amenity or one along your planned route.
Lightweight and truly portable, the Magellan RoadMate 300 goes wherever you go, from your personal vehicle to your business car, to your recreational vehicle.

Easy shopping experience, low prices. I recently bought a Nuvi 3790 from Costco and learned of the ecoRoute HD cable. Found it cheaper here than any other site in Canada or U.S. Thanks again!
