The RAM Mount RAP-304 High Strength Plastic Holder is designed to connect to a standard plastic button knob found on the back of many cell phones, GPS units, golf gps, music players and more.

The back of the holder is a RAM diamond plate which will connect to the RAM-B-238 Aluminum Diamond Plate with 1 inch ball or the RAP-B-238 Plastic Diamond Plate with 1 inch ball. With a ball connected to the back of the Button Holder, you can connect it to any of the RAM socket arms to create a mount.

 		 NEEDS TO BE BEEFED UP

Pros: relatively inexpensive
Cons: needs to be redesigned for strength
Mine broke the little tab that releases the button. Now if I want to remove my GPS from the holder I must have either a screw driver or pocket knife to push the locking tab in from the top. Needless to say I will now carry a spare....

 		 RAM MOUNT

Pros: very convenient
Cons: short product life.
This is my 2nd mount in a year. The little tip that holds the GPS in place wears and then will not hold.
