The RAM-B-149-MA12 Magellan Maestro 4200 Series Motorcycle RAM Mount is a Marine Grade Aluminum Mount with a Stainless Steel U-Bolt Rail Base and RAM Custom Plastic Cradle. The mount is designed with a RAM 1 inch diameter patented rubber ball and socket system that has adjustment point at the cradle and base. With a twist of the arm knob, you can move the Magellan Maestro 4200 Series mount to your optimum viewing position.

Magellan GPS Mount Cradle Design:


The RAM-HOL-MA12 RAM Mount High Strength Plastic Cradle is designed to hold the Magellan Maestro 4200 GPS Series, including the following GPS units,
  • Magellan Maestro 4200,
  • Magellan Maestro 4210,
  • Magellan Maestro 4220,
  • Magellan Maestro 4250.
All cables can stay connected to the unit while in the RAM cradle.

Magellan GPS Mount Cradle Plate:


The RAM-B-238 Marine Grade Aluminum Diamond Plate is designed to connected to the back of the mount cradle. The diamond plate has a 1.0 inch diameter rubber ball connected at right angles to the plate, which connects directly to the 1 inch arm socket. The cradle includes the required hardware to connect the plate to the cradle. Magellan GPS Mount Arm Design:


The RAM-B-201 RAM Mount Marine Grade Aluminum Dual Socket Arm is a 1 inch B size Ball Socket Arm with open socket ends. The arm is 3.0 inches long between socket centers and is finished with a Black Powder Coating. The side of the arm includes a tightening knob which allows you to open and close the socket ends. Magellan GPS Mount Base Design:


The RAM-B-231 RAM Mount Powder Coated Marine Grade Aluminum Rail Base has a 1.0 inch diameter Rubber Ball designed to sit at right angles to the mounting rail. The Stainless Steel U-Bolt and nuts included are designed it fit on most motorcycle round handlebars, or any circular rail or pipe with diameter from 3/4 to 1.0 inch.

To mount the rail base, place the top of the base on the rail and then slide the u-bolt around the rail, into the holes in the base top. Now tighten the screws onto the u-bolt until the base is clamped firmly. If you desire, you can now slot the black rubber covers over the exposed ends of the u-bolt.

NOTE: This base is completely rust proof.

For Small Rail Mounting:

For a smaller rail, you can purchase the RAM Mount Plastic U-Bolt Adapter for circular rails with diameter down to 0.5 inches.

For Larger Rail Mounting:

For a larger rail, you can purchase the RAM Mount Stainless Steel Large Rail U-Bolt for circular rails with diameter up to 1.25 inches.

 		 FITS LIKE A GLOVE

Pros: perfect fit
Cons: none
This is easy to mount and holds my Maestro 4250 very snug with no vibrations. It is so snug that I think I'm going to brake the release clip which is hard to pull back, but it is guaranteed not to brake so no problem there if it does. I can either remove my GPS or just remove the GPS base easily when leaving my bike with in seconds. GPS City has all kinds of mounts and I'm looking to purchase a bar mount for my iPhone.
