GPSMAP 76CX 76CSX 96C ZINC U-BOLT MOUNT PRODUCT DETAILS

The RAM-B-149Z-GA14 Garmin GPSMAP 76C Color and 96 Series Motorcycle RAM Mount is a Marine Grade Aluminum Mount with a Zinc Coated U-Bolt Rail Base and RAM Custom Plastic Cradle. The mount is designed with a RAM 1 inch diameter patented rubber ball and socket system that has adjustment point at the cradle and base. With a twist of the arm knob, you can move the Garmin GPSMAP 76C Color and 96 Series mount to your optimum viewing position.

To help ensure you have the Garmin GPSMAP 76C, GPSMAP 76Cx, GPSMAP 76CSx and GPSMAP 96 Series Mount you require, take a look at the list of available RAM Garmin GPS mounts on the RAM-HOL-GA14 Series of Garmin GPSMAP 76C, GPSMAP 76Cx, GPSMAP 76CSx and GPSMAP 96 Cradles and Mounts Page. Garmin GPS Mount Cradle Design:

The RAM-HOL-GA14 Garmin GPSMAP 76C and GPSMAP 96 Series RAM Mount Cradle is a High Strength Plastic Composite Cradle designed specifically to hold the Garmin GPSMAP 76C and GPSMAP 96 Series, including the following GPS units,

Garmin GPSMAP 76Cx
Garmin GPSMAP 76CSx
Garmin GPSMAP 76C
Garmin GPSMAP 76CS
Garmin GPSMAP 96
Garmin GPSMAP 96C

All cables can stay connected to the unit while in the RAM cradle.

The Garmin GPS 72, GPS 76, GPSMAP 76 and GPSMAP 76S WILL NOT fit this cradle. These units require the RAM-HOL-GA6 cradle.

Garmin GPS Mount Cradle Plate:

The RAM-B-238 Marine Grade Aluminum Diamond Plate is designed to connected to the back of the mount cradle. The diamond plate has a 1.0 inch diameter rubber ball connected at right angles to the plate, which connects directly to the 1 inch arm socket. The cradle includes the required hardware to connect the plate to the cradle. Garmin GPS Mount Arm Design:

The RAM-B-201 RAM Mount Marine Grade Aluminum Dual Socket Arm is a 1 inch B size Ball Socket Arm with open socket ends. The arm is 3.0 inches long between socket centers and is finished with a Black Powder Coating. The side of the arm includes a tightening knob which allows you to open and close the socket ends. Garmin GPS Mount Base Design:

The RAM-B-231Z RAM Mount Powder Coated Marine Grade Aluminum Rail Base has a 1.0 inch diameter Rubber Ball designed to sit at right angles to the mounting rail. The Zinc Coated metal U-Bolt and nuts included are designed it fit on most motorcycle round handlebars, or any circular rail or pipe with diameter from 3/4 to 1.0 inch.

To mount the rail base, place the top of the base on the rail and then slide the u-bolt around the rail, into the holes in the base top. Now tighten the screws onto the u-bolt until the base is clamped firmly. If you desire, you can now slot the black rubber covers over the exposed ends of the u-bolt.

Note: If you are looking to use this mount in the elements, we suggest the RAM-B-231 Stainless Steel U-Bolt Mount.

For Small Rail Mounting:

For a smaller rail, you can purchase the RAP-319 RAM Mount Plastic U-Bolt Adapter for circular rails with diameter down to 0.5 inches.

For Larger Rail Mounting:

For a larger rail, you can purchase the RAM Mount Stainless Steel Large Rail U-Bolt for circular rails with diameter up to 1.25 inches.

Bob Stauth November 16, 2008	RAM MOUNT FOR GPSMAP 76CSX This is the second Ram Mount I have purchased. One is on my Suzuki King Quad, the other is dash mounted on my Yamaha Rhino. I was very happy with how the mount held my GPS in position on my quad, even through the very rough terrain, which lead me purchase the second one for the Rhino.
