The RAM-B-149Z-GA2 Garmin Garmin GPS II, III and V Series Motorcycle RAM Mount is a Marine Grade Aluminum Mount with a Zinc Coated U-Bolt Rail Base and RAM Custom Plastic Cradle. The mount is designed with a RAM 1 inch diameter patented rubber ball and socket system that has adjustment point at the cradle and base. With a twist of the arm knob, you can move the Garmin GPS II, III and V Series (including Garmin GPS II, II Plus, III, III Plus, III Pilot and V) mount to your optimum viewing position.

Garmin GPS Mount Options:


To help ensure you have the Garmin GPS II, III and V Series Mount you require, take a look at the list of available RAM Garmin GPS mounts on the RAM-HOL-GA2 Series of Garmin GPS II, III and V Cradles and Mounts Page. Here you can select from suction cup GPS mounts, flat surface screw down GPS mounts, GPS car mounts, non skid weighted GPS mounts and more bundled with the RAM-HOL-GA2 Garmin GPS II, III and V Series Cradle.

Garmin GPS Mount Cradle Design:


The RAM-HOL-GA2 RAM Mount High Strength Plastic Cradle is designed to hold the Garmin GPS II, III and V Series, including the following GPS units,
  • Garmin GPS II
  • Garmin GPS II+
  • Garmin GPS III
  • Garmin GPS III+
  • Garmin GPS V
  • Garmin GPS V Deluxe
The RAM-HOL-GA2 cradle can rotate to allow viewing the GPS unit with the vertical or horizontal screen and all cables can stay connected to the unit while in the RAM cradle.

Garmin GPS Mount Cradle Plate:


The RAM-B-238 Marine Grade Aluminum Diamond Plate is designed to connected to the back of the mount cradle. The diamond plate has a 1.0 inch diameter rubber ball connected at right angles to the plate, which connects directly to the 1 inch arm socket. The cradle includes the required hardware to connect the plate to the cradle. Garmin GPS Mount Arm Design:


The RAM-B-201 RAM Mount Marine Grade Aluminum Dual Socket Arm is a 1 inch B size Ball Socket Arm with open socket ends. The arm is 3.0 inches long between socket centers and is finished with a Black Powder Coating. The side of the arm includes a tightening knob which allows you to open and close the socket ends. Garmin GPS Mount Base Design:


The RAM-B-231Z RAM Mount Powder Coated Marine Grade Aluminum Rail Base has a 1.0 inch diameter Rubber Ball designed to sit at right angles to the mounting rail. The Zinc Coated metal U-Bolt and nuts included are designed it fit on most motorcycle round handlebars, or any circular rail or pipe with diameter from 3/4 to 1.0 inch.

To mount the rail base, place the top of the base on the rail and then slide the u-bolt around the rail, into the holes in the base top. Now tighten the screws onto the u-bolt until the base is clamped firmly. If you desire, you can now slot the black rubber covers over the exposed ends of the u-bolt.

Note: If you are looking to use this mount in the elements, we suggest the RAM-B-231 Stainless Steel U-Bolt Mount.

For Small Rail Mounting:

For a smaller rail, you can purchase the RAP-319 RAM Mount Plastic U-Bolt Adapter for circular rails with diameter down to 0.5 inches.

For Larger Rail Mounting:

For a larger rail, you can purchase the RAM Mount Stainless Steel Large Rail U-Bolt for circular rails with diameter up to 1.25 inches.

 		 EXCELLENT MOTORCYCLE MOUNT

Pros: well made and simple to use and install
Cons: none
The RAM GPS V U-Bolt mount is well designed and very easy to install on a motorcycle. As well,it has a large range of movement allowing the user to adjust the GPS exactly to their line of vision. The product is rugged and well made and simple to adjust, even while riding.This is my second purchase of the above mount--the first having been in service for many years in all kinds of weather. I would highly recommend any of the RAM products and the excellent pricing and service of GPSCITY.

 		 GPS MOUNT

RAM mounts are very easy to put on and keep the GPS nice and stable during rough riding on my ATV. I also use them on the snowmobile and they are awesome.
