GARMIN COLORADO SERIES STAINLESS STEEL U-BOLT MOUNT PRODUCT DETAILS

The RAM-B-149-GA27 Garmin Colorado Series Motorcycle RAM Mount is a Marine Grade Aluminum Mount with a Stainless Steel U-Bolt Rail Base and RAM Custom Plastic Cradle. The mount is designed with a RAM 1 inch diameter patented rubber ball and socket system that has adjustment point at the cradle and base. With a twist of the arm knob, you can move the Garmin Colorado Series mount to your optimum viewing position.

Garmin GPS Mount Cradle Design:

The RAM-HOL-GA27 Garmin Colorado Series RAM Mount Cradle is a High Strength Plastic Composite Cradle designed specifically to hold the Garmin Colorado Series, including the following GPS units,

Garmin Colorado 300
Garmin Colorado 400t
Garmin Colorado 400i
Garmin Colorado 400c

All cables can stay connected to the unit while in the RAM cradle.

Garmin GPS Mount Cradle Plate:

The RAM-B-238 Marine Grade Aluminum Diamond Plate is designed to connected to the back of the mount cradle. The diamond plate has a 1.0 inch diameter rubber ball connected at right angles to the plate, which connects directly to the 1 inch arm socket. The cradle includes the required hardware to connect the plate to the cradle. Garmin GPS Mount Arm Design:

The RAM-B-201 RAM Mount Marine Grade Aluminum Dual Socket Arm is a 1 inch B size Ball Socket Arm with open socket ends. The arm is 3.0 inches long between socket centers and is finished with a Black Powder Coating. The side of the arm includes a tightening knob which allows you to open and close the socket ends. Garmin GPS Mount Base Design:

The RAM-B-231 RAM Mount Powder Coated Marine Grade Aluminum Rail Base has a 1.0 inch diameter Rubber Ball designed to sit at right angles to the mounting rail. The Stainless Steel U-Bolt and nuts included are designed it fit on most motorcycle round handlebars, or any circular rail or pipe with diameter from 3/4 to 1.0 inch.

To mount the rail base, place the top of the base on the rail and then slide the u-bolt around the rail, into the holes in the base top. Now tighten the screws onto the u-bolt until the base is clamped firmly. If you desire, you can now slot the black rubber covers over the exposed ends of the u-bolt.

NOTE: This base is completely rust proof.

For Small Rail Mounting:

For a smaller rail, you can purchase the RAM Mount Plastic U-Bolt Adapter for circular rails with diameter down to 0.5 inches.

For Larger Rail Mounting:

For a larger rail, you can purchase the RAM Mount Stainless Steel Large Rail U-Bolt for circular rails with diameter up to 1.25 inches.

It's easy to install and fits under any electrical cables on the handle bar, then with the swivel design built into the arm you can position your gps to an easy view area. Your gps snaps into place over the roller on the bootom of the mount face plate and is a very snug fit so it won't come loose if you are an extreme trail rider. 3 out of 6 viewers found this review helpful. dubious Ottawa August 28, 2009	GREAT BUY Good price, excellent quality , super fast shipping. This is my first RAM mount so I have nothing to compare it to. But works exactly as it should, GPS can be moved around to accommodate any desired position/angle. GPS is very sturdy in the Mount, yet slides in and out with ease. I've reversed the middle part of the mount, so when I removed the GPS I remove the main part of the mount (so it doesn't get stolen), leaving only the ball mount on the bike's handle bar. 22 out of 47 viewers found this review helpful. Mounts in minutes with a couple of tools.
