The RAM-B-125B-G1 RAM Mount Powder Coated Marine Grade Aluminum Extension Plate includes a 1 inch Rubber Ball to allow you to maneuver your GPS unit, or any connected device, in more positions than the standard mounting plate. Originally designed to position your GPS in front of the yoke on your plane, the extension plate can also be used in many other applications.

The connection section of the plate is 2.5'' square with pre-drilled holes for many different screw hole patterns, including the universal AMPS hole pattern and all RAM made cradles. The connection section extends approximately 2.25'' forward, at a 45 degree angle, from the center of the 1'' ball and approximately 1.5'' above the 1'' ball (to the bottom of the connection section of the plate).

Connection Hardware Included:

The plate includes a set of four short and four long nuts and bolts to connect the plate to your required cradle.

 		 RAM MOUNT

I bought this to mount my GPS on my motorcycle. I mounted it upside down on the windshield mount and is is working very well so far. It's supporting an iWay 500 which is a heavy unit.
