WORKS GREAD WITH OTTERBOX DEFENDER CASE

This was a great solution for mounting iPhone 4S's in Otterbox Cefender cases on our tour buses. Two screws into the diamond base is more than enough to hold this mount on the dash. The X-Grip mount holds the phone very tightly without any issues, and the ball-in-socket design allows the mount to conform to any space or user preference.

MOUNT DOES WORK WORK FOR MY BIKE

The idea is great, but when mounted on the clutch assembly, as instructed, it blocks most if the view to the left side mirror. It is a safety issue. I logged in to your site with a csr from your company to match the 2011 Harley street glide. I need the mount to somehow move over to the right by around 2 inches

This clamp mount rocks! The design is great - easy to setup, easy adjust with gloves on. The clamp bites firmly on round bars or flat tops alike and one knob makes it easier to set than other bar mounts I've used (that have two knobs with poor leverage on the grips). The simplicity and the adjustability of RAM's ball design is virtually endless and quick while instilling confidence that your gear will stay where you put it. Aluminum and rubber quality construction makes this stand out among competitors who charge as much if not more for a chinese made injected plastic piece that bends under use and breaks under cold temperatures or even under normal use just trying to clamp it down attempting to ensure it security. EXCELLENT QUALITY

The Ram Mount is excellent quality. It is more expensive than other mounts but will worth it. You get what you pay for. The mount is quite adjustable and can be mounted at whatever angle and height that you prefer. I mounted it on the handlebar of a skidoo and it is the real cat's meow. Don't hesitate to pay the extra cost for this mount.

Purchased for use with Streetpilot 2720. Replacement came in a sealed Garmin package that says it's for Streetpilot 2820, but does reference the correct part number 010-10477- 07 obtained directly from Garmin as proper replacement. Connected to unit and it fits much tighter than original and cord length is the same. Was used and it works GREAT no longer cutting out ocassionally over road bumps. Ordered via phone and product, customer service, price and prompt delivery were ALL EXCELLENT! I would certainly purchase from GPSCITY again.

SOLID MOUNT

Installed it on my dirt bike handle bar with no issue. The zip ties were a bit weak so those were swaped out for stronger ones. I did notice that it would rotate on the bar a bit so I wrapped a small piece of old inner tube over the bar then reinstalled the mount over that. This gave the zip ties more grip and solved the problem.

Just to be sure the GPS isn't lost, I also attach a lanyard to the bar and GPS.

Overall, good product and easy to use.

SHORT ARM GIVE A VERY SOLID HOLD!

I had been using the standard, 4" arm, to hold my GPSMAP 640 on my dual-sport motorcycle. It as a little too high and a little too susceptible to bumps, so I replaced it with this shorter arm. The shorter arm hold the heavy unit very securely and is less prone to movement with bumps than the longer one.

AWESOME PRODUCT AND GREAT JOB GETTING IT TO ME!

SECURE FIT

The only bad part about this mount is that with the Otterbox the power button doesn't line up with the cutouts in the back of the mount itself. this makes it hard to turn on while docked. AWKWARD IPAD REMOVAL

This tablet mount needs a less awkward means to remove the IPAD when the mount is difficult to reach. The spring system holds the tablet very well, but it takes three hands to remove the tablet when placed at arms length and the support structure is less than rigid.

GREAT, EASY TO USE PRODUCT!

It's a great accessory for the iPhone when used in combination with Garmin App & ANT+ accessories. I have used it with the HR strap and the speed/cadence sensor and both work flawlessly. The only issue is that I can't use my iPhone case with it, but that's only an extremely minor inconvenience.

MONTANA 600

Really good working machine for geocaching and with the different profiles and quick changeover makes it a great driving GPS as well. Accuracy under a canopy comes close to my old GPSmap76csx which unfortunately fell victim to programming software upgrades. Love the large screen and the solid feel.

SHOCKED...

Shocked at what Amazon was charging for a lower-capacity microSD card - over $100 for 512MB! So was pleasantly suprised when I found GPScity and promptly ordered this 8GB card for our new Garmin Nuvi 40LM. Fits and works like a charm, was able to add England maps with PLENTY of future room to spare. Delivery was within a few days to Chicago area.

GARMIN GPS GOLF WATCH

Took it Florida for our annual Golf trip. The watch did exactly what it claimed to do. I like it a lot and I will be using it everytime I golf. It's easy to use, and I carried a copy of the instructions in my golf bag. The numbers are clear and very visible, even on sunny days. The major drawback that I see is that the battery life could be longer, although I did get 2 rounds out of it per day likely because it's new. The charging system is rediculous given that there are mini USB plugs in use on many small electronic devices. Thumbs down to Garmin on the charging system, nonetheless, I like it, and would recommend it to others. Already recommended it to my golfing buddies, who constantly kept on asking "how far is it" . Great idea by Garmin, if you are an avid golfer, you'll like this product regardless of the charging system.

ANOTHER GREAT OPTION

After mulling over the numerous options for mounting my GPS, I decided on the Ram Mount base B-272U. It had the correct diameter hole which allowed it to be mounted on the handlebar mount near the stem. There were so many options to choose from, but i decided on this one because it would shield the GPS from the extremities and helps reduce vibration caused by mounting thee GPs at the handlebar ends.

DISAPPOINTING

This is my third Garmin GPS, and by far, the most disappointing on a number of levels.

I just spent three hours on the phone with tech support, who finally said they couldn't fix the maps download problem, and I should just get another computer. They tried to blame my router firewall, my PC firewall, and my antivirus progam. I let them take over the computer remotely, and they still couldn't fix the problem. The second computer took eight hours to download the maps, and another hour to process and install them. There was still an 'uexpected error' at the end of all that. Apparently, this problem is widespread and complaints on the internet are numerous.

My other misc. complaints include -Low audio volume in a small car, with windows up and the fan turned off. -When used as a handsfree unit, you can't hear the other phone ringing on an outbound call. -It won't update the phone book. Numbers I deleted from the phone ages ago, have never been deleted from the 2495. -Voice recognition can't be used to find an address. Voice recognition does work for typical commands like 'view map', but with street names being pronounced so many ways, this function really can't work very well. -Voice recognition doesn't work at all for saved places. You have to move the cursor four items at a time, until you find what you want. -Saved places don't have an icon on the screen. -Menus aren't very intutive. I've finally had to map them, but they change between touch screen input and voice input.

In summary, if Garmin had map updates for my old Street Pilot 2620, I'd have kept it, and passed on the nuvi. My nuvi experience has been rather fustrating.

Pros: traffic info on gta highways is good.
Cons: map updates are a horrible process. audio is low.
Recommend: NO
