TITAN III ANTENNA
Pros: perfect for vehicle use
I found that the antenna is only a little moe sensitive than my new 76Csx unit. Where I really notice a huge boost is with my old 76S.

DOES THE JOB!
Pros: improves satellite reception Cons: original models had fragile connectors
I have owned this antenna (Model 35012) since 2002. It was purchased because my Garmin Street Pilot 2610 could not get a signal under the cab of my truck camper. I now use it under the cab of my class C camper. It has performed as expected.
If I have one complaint is the MCX-Male to FME Connectors keeps breaking. I've had three connectors. Now the third one is beginning to go causing some "Lost Satellite Reception" messages. I must point out that the second and third connectors were aftermarket. I see now that the connectors are made of brass. I hope this improves durability.
Anyway after eight years the wire is fraying and I'm about to purchase another one. I have been satisfied with the antenna's performance.

TITAN III ACTIVE ANTENNA
One word AWESOME.
The device is great, I have it linked up to my 60csx, I work mainly in a Vehicle, and have had no problems what so ever, GRS tracking is down to 2 meters, and up to 100% fix on up to all Satellites observed on device. The Connection on the back is great to, made of brass, it slots into the back of the GPS (no screw threads required) s makes it very user friendly. comes with enough lead to mount any where on a vehicle, and the magnet is strong.

OUTSTANDING!
I have three of the GPS Outfitters Titan III Antenna's in different vehicles and using this antenna makes my Garmin GPS's really standout.
Even when sitting in traffic with bridges and tall buildings, I NEVER loose a signal. This antenna is a must if you want the best performance from your GPS!!!
Also, carry one as a spare so when you travel and rent a vehicle.

HIKER, BACK ROAD TRAVELER
Bought this unit with my new 60CSx and tried it with and without and found a noticeable difference in precision and speed of acquistion when in more challenging deep ravines and dense brush. It even worked indoors and acquired a 3D position which I discovered by accident!

I picked this up for use with my Street Pilot 2620 in my 2001 Suburban. The cable turned out to be the perfect length, and the gain is outstanding. I compared the performance of this antenna, side-by-side with the Garmin external antenna and found the Titan III to be superior. I pulled twelve birds, with differential corrections, almost immediately, with nearly full signal on all of them (this was the first time I'd ever seen this with ANY GPS/Antenna). It has a strong magnet which holds the antenna in place very nicely. All in all, I'm really impressed with this!
