| GPS City Screw PC Interface Cable 4 Pin Description |
This cable allows you to make a powerful connection between your GPS and your PC. Create routes and waypoints on your PC and transfer them to your GPS. You can also download map detail from MapSource CD-ROMs to compatible units.
The cable consists of a round Garmin 4 pin plug, separated by a 5' long cable, and a standard 9-pin DB9 serial plug (to connect to a Windows computer).
This cable does not provide wiring for external power so data transfer will require the unit to power with batteries.
The PC Interface Cable has molded plugs on both ends, a GARMIN plug for the GPS and a DB-9 to connect to a Windows computer on the other.
PLEASE NOTE:
This cable is not compatible with the Garmin GPS 12 and WILL NOT connect to the GPS 12XL, GPS 12CX and GPS 12MAP when they are mounted in the Garmin Swivel Mount (010-10048-00). The cable will work with all other mounts, including RAM Mounts. |
