DOES WHAT IT SAYS
Pros: works great
Cons: not great in daylight
The unit does add excellent functionality to my GoPro. To get a perfect review it would have to improve view ability in daylight.

GO PRO ESSENTIAL ACCESSORY
Pros: light, allows instant review of pics and video
Cons: too thick for some of the mounts
The backpac means you are no longer blind when shooting with the Go Pro camera. It is easy to attach, not too bulky and while using some extra battery power it is not excessive.
It's handy to be able to see the camera's menu in plain language on the lcd rather than cryptic codes on the camera.

Pros: size, ease of installation
This accessory makes the GoPro more user friendly and enables video or photo review instantly. Well worth the money...

Pros: helps camera menu navigation
Cons: should come with the camers, not be an accessory
This makes navigation through the cameras menu a lot easier ad is absolutely necessary in order to aim the camera correctly and take the shots or film correctly.

MUST HAVE TO FULLY USE THE GOPRO
Pros: let use the gopro as a normal waterproof camera
It's a must have to fully enjoy the GoPro. It comes with new back doors. I make a couple of over/under water with family using the camera in my hand. The LCD let me use the GoPro like a "normal" waterproof camera. I highly recommend to buy the anti-fog inserts if you want to make videos near the water surface, the temperature change tend to make fog just in the middle of the objective.

ESSENTIAL GOPRO ACCESSORY
Pros: easy to fit comes with extra backs works great.
Cons: requires firmware update
Always had trouble getting the camera aimed just so - now, no more problems. Haven't noticed battery wear and tear much. Including backs for all the various enclosures is awesome. Great little camera and backpac.

MAKE YOUR GOPRO HD REALLY USEFUL
Pros: easy access to set up options. see picture
Cons: should be integrated to camera, since it is a must
It's a must for your GoPro HD. You will be sure that your picture is in corrct frame without link it to your computer. Came with 4 back doors.

HELPS ALIGN YOUR VIEW OF WHAT IS RECORDED
Pros: great price for the first release from gpscity
Not sure I needed this item, but decided it might be useful in aligning the camera to ensure I get what I want recorded. Also allows you to view what you have recorded...but I usually will have a laptop with me on motorcycle trips to help store videos.

Cons: dim in bright light
When you attach the GoPro HD Hero LCD Backpac to your camera, you get a whole new dimension of Hero. You can actually frame pictures and video. You are able to set up your time lapse and then shut off the LCD so that your battery lasts longer. Instant review of video and pictures so that you can delete junk clips and pics.

GOPRO HD HERO LCD BACKPAC
I have been waiting for this item and when I got them (2p) I get happy. I need to connect my camera to get the software oppgrade, but when done it work perfect. Also nice that you can turn it off when not in necessary use, blind filming. I love them both. Thanks!

Pros: great value with additional 'doors'.
Cons: don't need the additional 'doors'.
This product is just what is needed for this unit. Just wish GoPro had not released info on availability until it was indeed available!

Use this on both my motorbike and car. The screen is not very bright. stopped using this as i also bought the battery pac. Now sits in a draw.

GREAT ADDITION TO THE GOPRO
Pros: finally, the gopro has video on-board!
Cons: adds extra weight and bulk.
Don't understand all the three star ratings for a product the posters don't even have in hand. Received mine a couple days ago. Works as advertised. Came with all the back covers (waterproof and non-waterproof). With the LCD you can navigate the cryptic GoPro menu with a more user- friendly interface. I am very satisfied. it was worth the wait.

FINALLY RECEIVED FAST SHIPPING
Pros: great product, fast shipping, great seller...
Cons: none
Called them Tuesday and got it Thursday. Very fast shipping and great price. Procduct is very nice if you have a GOPro HD and want to SEE what you are recording before you record. Also picked up the extra extended battery. Both came with extra backings...4 for the LCD 2 for the battery.

YOU NEED NEW BACKS FOR THE HERO LCD
Pros: will make the camera much more useable
Cons: don't know of any yet
The original back will not fit over the new LCD display. The price from GoPro is US $79.99 but included 4 backs. 2 waterproof ones Regular and Wrist mounts and 2 open ones ones as well. A full review is available on the GoPro site.
