Pros: exactly as pictured Cons: nil
The product and service was fantastic. I was able to wire the GPS power cable myself and it works perfectly.

DOES THE JOB ON MY BIKE
Pros: eliminates socket probs, reliable power, well made Cons: needs a better fuse setup for motorcycle apps
I run a Megellan Roadmate on my motorcycle. I was using a standard lighter adapter and a plug in cable to mini USB. Constant problems. The adapter would vibrate out of the socket cutting power. Even when it was better secured the Magellan would keep reverting to internal battery. I thought the Roadmate was on its way out. Well, after installing this baby and 100s of miles of riding- the Roadmate works perfectly- no problems. The GPS- City rep was not sure if it would work with Magellan, but it definately does. I agree with another review- change the fuse type to a waterproof blade-type and it would be about perfect.

THE RIGHT CABLE
I finally have the right cable to power my Garmin Nuvi 255W on my motorcycle. This cable is wired to a switched source on the bike inside the head light bucket and powers the unit up just like it does in your car or truck with the cigar lighter plug that comes with the GPS. The Ram mount for the handlebar holds it firmly in place and can be adjusted to any angle you would need. GPS City shipped on Jan 16 and item was delivered to my door on Jan 18. You can't beat that!!

MUST HAVE FOR 62S
Pros: keeps your backlight on! Cons: could be cheaper, it's just a cable!
These GPS units eat batteries, if you're on a motorcycle, riding all day in sunlight, you want that backlight on full power. Rechargeable NimH only get you so far. This cable is a must have. Quick install. Serves as a charger for telephones and anything else.

WORKS WELL IN ATV APPLICATION
Pros: better than batteries Cons: needs seal for the usb plug to keep out dirt
I purchased this power cable to use on my ATV. The leads were long enough to work well with my Yamaha Kodiak. My only compliant is the lack of a rubber grommet/seal at the plug. If I'm not plugged into the GPS, I'd prefer a way to seal the end of the USB cable to prevent dirt or moisture from getting in it. I'm not sure if this will be an issue over time or not.

GARMIN NUVI HARD WIRE
Pros: simple direct design Cons: lead from the converter box to the gps plug is 6"
This power cable was exactly what I was looking for so I could wire my nuvi 205W up on my bike. I did have it RAM mounted on my handlebar, but I wanted to mount it onto my fairing so the GPS would be directly in front of me instead of off to the side (safety thing). This power cord let me do this, and be able to hide all the wiring. The only complaint I have with it is that the lead from the converter to the plug is only about 6", so the little converter box is outside my fairing instead of inside. It did what I was wanting to do, so all-in-all, I rated it as good.

Pros: gps now works great...exactly as i want it to. Cons: expensive installation.
To properly work, my Nuvi 3790 with EcoRoute HD option, in my car needed to be powered OFF when the car is off, but the accessory power port is permantently powered and couldn't be changed. This power cable was attached to the ignition system at a Canadian Tire Auto Center. It solved the problem and works great. However, the job was expensive.

GREAT FOR MOTORBIKES... ALMOST
Pros: well built Cons: fuse
Well built quality cord except for the fuse. Having a old style glass fuse in a high vibration enviroment such as a motorbike is not wise. Better to have a ATO or ATM automotive style fuse. Will have to replace the fuse holder with one that is more suitable and waterproof
