This case fits the 5" Nuvi perfectly providing excellent protection. Because it is not bulky and fits nicely in a glove compartment or purse. The GPS slides in easily and is simple to get out. A very well designed case.

This case is well made of supple leather and protects the 5 inch GPS from scratches and bumps. It is convenient for carrying in my perse and has the look of a wallet. It is exactly what I wnated and neede to protect my new Garmin GPS,

Excellent quality product that does what is suppose to: protect the GPS. It is not a carry case to keep cords etc. Velcro closure is secure and simple to use. Attractive leather with the Garmin logo. Looks much more expensive. Thin case is easy to store. GPSCity is great. My first purchase. Super-fast secure shipping. Best price anywhere!

Needed a case for my newly purchsed Garmin Nuvi 2595. Purchased a TomTom case and it wouldn't close properly with the Nuvi so it was returned. After reading reviews on the Garmin case, I decided to give it a try. Price was cheaper and if fits my Nuvi like a glove. Very soft inside to protect the screen and padded on the outside to cushion any fall. All in all, a great case for the Nuvi 2595 (or any similar 5" screen GPS).

Garmin cover is a nice looking unit to protect your GPS. I bought this cover to protect my Garmin for an upcoming trip to Australia. From a space standpoint, it is bulky. I would have been happier with a half shell hard cover, but this cover is definitely well made and will protect my Garmin. Excellent price offered by gpscity

Though the case is/was intended for a Garmin GPS, I bought this unit for a TomTom GO2535TM GPS and it fits perfectly. Certainly strong enough to prevent damage if accidentally dropped. Only (very small) negative is that the front cover, when closed is about 3/4" too short for total coverage of the TomTom. Also, I would have liked to see a hand strap attached so that one can carry same outside of the car, etc. Other than that, I found the price very reasonable, the unit even looks chic and certainly well worth having same.

NUVI 5" CARRYING CASE FOR MY 1490LMT

Cons: not sure what internal elastic loop is for
I have been a big fan of Nuvi products for years and we rcently purchased the Nuvi 1490LMT and unlike the first one we purchased, it did not come with a case (Old Nuvi still works great and is in my wife's car). My concern was to protect our 1490LMT when not in use and keep it form being scratched or damaged. This unit is perfect, fits exactly as anticipated and has the added benefit of a folding envelope-like cover. I would recommend the Carrying Case for anyone that uses a Nuvi with a 5" screen and even go further to say it is a must. Great price too, by the way.

I still can not believe the overall quality of this case for designed to fit all 5" Garmin GBPs. The soft surface inside the case will prevent scratches, well padded to greatly reduce or eliminate physical damage to the GPS if dropped, and black stitched leather or leatherette gives this case the quality look and feel that it has been designed to display.
I ordered this case around 4pm EST and it was delivered before noon the very next day - excellent service for an excellent product!

Given the sale price for which this unit was purchased it really has outperformed. With lifetime traffic and map updates (a considerable cost if purchased annually) the purchase of this unit was a no brainer, In terms of set up, I simply plugged it into my computer using the USB cord, created an account on the Garmin website and downloaded the latest update. All very straightforward. Operation is very intuitive with the menus easily guiding you through any featrures of changes. And the bluetooth function is excellent, allowing hands-free calling while driving (the law in my jurisdiction)

Just what I was looking for. My Garmin fits in the case like a glove. The Garmin does not move around - something that I was worried about when looking for a case. I like the idea of the velcro flap closue - there's no chance of the Garmin falling out. The only concern I have is that eventually the velcro will wear out - but time will tell as to how long it lasts. I was also happy that the case was made of leather instead of plastic, at least I know it will last and even look good as it ages. I can tell that thought went into the manufacture of this item because the inside was lined with a soft material which protects the screen and makes it easier to insert and remove my Garmin.

This is a nice case, it does the job, I purchased a Garmin 1490 series GPS, and the case fits fine. The inside is covered with soft material so it does not scratch the case or screen. I am happy with it. It was a bit pricey compared to the smaller cases for the 2xx series, but not too bad.

Having recently invested in a Garmin 1350T, I wanted to be sure my investment was well protected. This Garmin case is perfect for the 4.3" device and has sufficient padding to protect and for travel. The velcro opening makes it easy to store and remove.
