THIS IS SECOND MOUNT I PURCHASED
Pros: secure
Cons: don't lose the removal tool.
I have used this mount on my motorcycle for more than 6 years and this year, when I went to put the bike away for the winter, I found I had "misplaced" the removal tool. Garmin wants $4 for a replacement, which is not too bad until you figure in the $8 shipping. Why not buy a second mount for about the same price? Although I was initially concerned about the small contact area for the grip tabs, the mount has proven very secure through thousands of miles of riding. The removal bit appears to actually be a Torx security bit, but the supplied removal tool is easy to tuck into a bag.
