RAM sent me new adhesive for the disks I bought. Now they work as advertised. The adhesive and postage were supplied free. Good customer service from RAM.

PLASTIC DISK
Pros: cheap
Cons: does not work
This disk is o.k. if you want a frisbee, though it could use a smoother finish. The major problem is that the adhesive provided with the disk does not stick to the dashboard. I sent an e-mail to RAM, the manufacturer of the product asking for hints, but got no reply. When I ordered it, it was advertised as a "Garmin" product. When I got it, I discovered that it was a "RAM" product. Since it was advertised a "proudly made in America", I gave it a try. I hope none of them foreign guys get of one of these!

ADHESIVE MOUNT
Would not stick to the dash of my new snowmobile. I used it as a backing plate for a screw-on mount.

DIDN'T WORK
I have a Garmin Nuvi and it came with an adhesive plate. It worked well for about 3 months and then the adhesive started to not be as sticky, so I purchased this as a replacement.
It didn't work at all.
First off, the adhesive layer was very thin, maybe about 0.5mm. This meant that less than a square inch of it actually made contact with my dashboard. My original plate's adhesive layer was thick with some sort of foam lining, so it was able to compress and stick completely to my car's dash.
Second off, the adhesive layer didn't stick well. Even trying it on a glass plate at home, all I had to do was to tilt the plate and the weight of the GPS would make the plate fall off.
This purchase was a waste of money.

Cons: poor adhesive
I would not have purchased this product if I had known the type of adhesive that came with it.There is no way it would stay on in hot weather since it did not stick in cool weather.

Cons: too poor of adhesive to work on a dashboard
I was so excited to locate a replaceable mount for my Garmin GPS, that is until it arrived. the directions were not correct and I believe a piece was missing. the adhesive did not even last one day before the plate and GPS fell off of the dash.

DIDN'T STICK
The tape that comes with the disc didn't hold onto the dash or the plate itself. I had to apply my own adhesive to each side of the tape to get it to work as it is supposed to. Now it's fine but wasn't when it was delivered.

MISTAKE ABOVE
Above reviewer, who said 'one came with her C340' is mistaken. The adhesive disks supplied WITH the units are totally different than the RAM mounts. By the way for mounting a suction cup permanently to a windshield, rear view mirror adhesive works great use a very thin bead wait 24 hr to cure
