THE BIG LAND,
Pros: this gps is a pro !! Cons: not worth to mention.
I bought a 450t Garmin Oregon this year in January, 2012, from GPS City. I had serval brand names gps, this one is the best one yet. It's quick and easy, user friendly and very accurate. I recommend this gps to anyone...you can't go wrong or get lost with this unit.

PERFECT FOR MY NEEDS
Pros: easy use. fast. user friendly. Cons: none worth mention.
Good unit. Grabs it's position pretty quick. The included topo maps are reasonably accurate. There are a few anomalies, but all in all, really good. If you expect any map system to be 100% perfect, you deserve to be lost. Bought it primarily for use in off-road and wilderness applications. But, if I lost it, I would buy another one like it again.

GARMIN OREGON 450T CANADA
Pros: none Cons: none
I purchased this unit for my son who has zero knowledge for this type of instrument. Within 1 hour of him opening up the package, he had the unit mastered. When I looked at it and compared to my older Garmin 76CS, the Oregon was many more times easier to master.

OREGON 450T
Pros: easy geocaching downloads Cons: needs to be kept warm in -20c temps
Great hand held GPS unit. Touch screen is the bee's knees. Excellent for geocaching and tracking walks with the dog. Would be better if one could customize the in screen options when in map view but no real disappointments so far after ~2 months of heavy use. One downside is the battery's lose charge fast in the cold while snowshoeing. May try lithium to see if there is any improvement. A quick remedy is to throw a hand warmer in the same pocket as your oregon, seems to help with cold robbing the charge. Overall great unit and I recommend!

GARMIN OREGON 450T - PERFECT GEOCACHING TOOL!
Pros: durability, accurate! fast! battlife + mem upgrade Cons: wherigo sucks! geocaching rocks!!!
This is a true tool for the avid Geocacher want-a-bee. In only 6 weeks, our 450T's (we own 2 units!), the 450T has brought us to over 250 Geocaches!
We use a bank of rechargable batteries (Energizer NMHi) and a well cooked set of batteries (2) will last 3/4 of a day of Geocaching for us (so I always carry 4 spare on hand).
Our units have been bashed around, dropped, 64andy even spilled 7up on her unit!!!
I purchased the Oregon 450T mainly for the purpose to locate 4 pins on our property in Arizona. #2 was to train 64andy in the use of a GPS to locate me (where I would give her a set of coordinates for the day) and if there was an emergency, she would be able to locate my position).
Where this unit fails is it is USELESS for Wherigo "cartidges". There seems to be a disconnect between Garmin.com + Wherigo.com. I have been trying to dnld the latest firmware from Garmin, and it hangs up at 94% (more than 30 attempts!!!). At Wherigo.com, there is a lot of disfunction regarding Colorado + Oregon users having issues with Wherigo cartidges. I tried to create my own cartidge, where it functioned in the Wherigo Builder, and would not load in my 450T! It is just a SIMPLE walking tour of Moose Jaw, Sask (with only 3 places to walk to!).
The unit displays very well in sunlight (you just have to point away from the direct sun).
Once you insert a MicroSD in the unit, your Waypoints are dumped there to reserve the unit's internal memory! (we use 4gb MicroSD's).
With Backtrack - you can never get lost anywhere! Please remember to MARK your Start Waypoint (for a fast + direct return to your vehicle, when you are out doing many cache hunts in one area!!! (Something I have to train myself with).
The price of the unit ($500+) is NOT for the weak at mind or poor. At this price, one better use this unit, and not just purchase it, and set it aside!
Oh... I have to admidt that I have used ONLY 20% of the units functions! There are MANY!!!

SOLID ITEM
Pros: solid, accurate Cons: batteries dont last as long 3d map useless
Everything you could want for geocaching - excellent compass makes finds right on. It would be better if it had an easier way to download geocache way-points - c'mon Garmin - if iphone can collaborate with geocaching.com and create a nice easily downloadable way-points so can you! (I mean connecting the gps directly to the internet site.

GREAT HANDHELD
Pros: super durable, nice touchscreen Cons: low battery life, no dc input
Used this unit right across B.C. and Alberta for driving and hiking. The landmarks and roads were more accurate then my Rand Mcnally and choosing routes while hiking was easy with the 3D-topo map. My 4 year has taken a few rounds out of it and it still works and looks brand-new. $100 cheaper than futureshop too!

450TC
Pros: nice touch screen Cons: would not operate the software needed.
This GPS is light years ahead of the E-trex I replaced. I was disappointed not to have been informed that it would not hold City Navigator and Canada Lakes topo concurently. I think I may have been able to have done a download instead of purchasing the cards to a larger micro SD card and had an 8 gig card that Garmin said was not approved. I live in North Carolina and got the new GPS for a Canada trip in Northern Ontario. It was not until I got up there that I discovered the inland lakes would not load properly and without any manuals in the box and no internet, it was frustrating not to be able to get the use I had purchased this for.

GREAT FOR GEOCACHING
Pros: easy to use, great for caching, fits in a pocket. Cons: sometimes poor accuracy.
We use this unit for geocaching and it works great. The paperless caching makes things so much easier and being able to share wirelessly is awesome! The oregon is very easy to use, and is loaded with features. Glad to see they now have a Canadian version for us on the North side of the 49th.

GREAT FOR GEOCACHING
Pros: compass turns on a dime unlike my other gps. Cons: wherigo lockups need a battery removal reset.
Navigation can be recalculated "on road" or "off road" to drive near cache or find cache. Once logged found (on the same screen) you can continue to find other caches or quit.
Paperless caching - I only print multi-caches now

BEST OUTDOOR GPS
I luvz, luvz, luvz, my Garmin Oregon 450t. I like the touch screen, everyone praises the Garmin products, and I just went to my first geocaching event and learned more about the extra features that my GPS has. Although I don't have many caches under my belt, my Garmin has gotten me within 1 meter of the cache every single time. Yup, Yup, I am very happy with my Garmin. Also, it came with topo Canada already installed.

GREAT CHOICE FOR OUTDOOR GPS
Pros: just a great all around gps Cons: none that i can see thus far :-)
Unit is very accurate and has more features that you will use. Garmin corrected all of the complaints from the previous model. Great choice for anone looking for an outdoor gps unit.
Batteries do not last as long as described but I was sedding in -32deg celcius and batteries tend not to like cold weather. Does anyone know for cold resistant batteries?
