Note: This unit must be loaded with the included Topographic software; it is not pre-loaded. The package consists of the following:
- Garmin Oregon 300
- Garmin MapSource Canada Topographic CD
The Oregon 300 brings touch-screen technology to the great outdoors! With a 3" touch screen and Digital Elevation Model (DEM) shading, the Oregon 300 will help you find your way with confidence through the toughest of terrain. With the built-in MicroSD slot, you can load optional extended mapping and your own personal pictures. The Oregon 300 features a high-sensitivity GPS receiver and a 3.0" 65k color TFT touch-screen display. It's light (6.8oz) but tough.
Extra features
The Oregon 300 comes with all of the great features of the 200, but with the addition of a barometric altimeter, compass, ANT wireless communication with units, over 800MB more internal memory, and NMEA compatibility!
Share Wirelessly
With Oregon 300 you can share your waypoints, tracks, routes and geocaches wirelessly with other Oregon users. Now you can send your favorite hike to your buddy to enjoy or the location of a cache to find. Sharing data is easy. Just select “send” to transfer your information to other Oregon units.
Explore More
Oregon 300 comes with a built-in North America basemap with shaded relief and accepts SD cards for all your outdoor activities on land or water. Just take your pick from Garmin’s preprogrammed SD cards including street maps, topographic maps, coastal charts or inland lake data. The card slot is located inside the waterproof battery compartment, so you don't have to worry about getting it wet.
Keep Your Fix
With its high-sensitivity, WAAS-enabled GPS receiver, Oregon 300 locates your position quickly and precisely and maintains its GPS location even in heavy cover and deep canyons. The advantage is clear — whether you’re in deep woods or just near tall buildings and trees, you can count on Oregon to help you find your way when you need it the most.
Oregon 300: Get back in touch with the great outdoors.
