Pros: covers the delicate parts ie electronics
Cons: doesn't cover all the parts
Fits the gps fine. However this gps has an adapter on it and it doe not fit in the case. So you have a small part that is loose and unprotected.

THE BEST CARRYING CASE
I STAND CORRECTED! On the 27 Dec 2009, I posted that GPSCITY did not carry the carrying case part number 010- 11305-01 and that is false. They do sell it just type 010- 11305-01 in the "Search" box above and you'll get the BEST carrying case for your gps without the nasty negative features of the leather slip case, ie. turns on and/or falls out. Part number 010-11305-01 is one dollar more expensive but worth every single penny.

PERFECT FIT
This case fits my Nuvi 255WT perfectly. Now I feel safe putting it in my glove box. Garmin should include this with the GPS like they did with older models. At the price being offered here, it is the next best thing though!

THE BEST CARRYING CASE
From the comments above, the two most prevalent are the GPS switch inadvertently sliding to the "ON" position and the unit falling out. Well, for what it is worth, Garmin makes a case with a flip type lid. The Part Number: 010-11305-01. The only problem is that GPSCITY does not appear to carry the item and that's too bad. GB

Cons: needs a clasp for better security of gps unit
Great Case for my Nuvi 650. Fits like everyone else has stated "like a Glove". Many comments that case should have a small clasp that goes over opening of case to avoid unit from falling out. Garmin should create this--I would definitley buy it with a clasp--added security for a few dollars more when you've already spent 100's. Style and texture of case great--very appealing.

GOOD CASE FOR YOU NUVI GPS
Pros: protect your gps when you are not using it.
Cons: end of case with time, gps might slip out
If you need a good protect case for you GPS, this is a real nice case. I have the Garmin Nuvi 265WT, and it fits good. I just wish the case had something at the end of it because with time, I can see the GPS might slip out of case.

BUY FROM THE GET GO!
Pros: inexpensive insurance, protective, nice quality.
Really folks, you don't want to know what it costs to get a Garmin unit fixed. Frankly its pretty much time to spend the few extra bucks and get a new one. I doubt you'd be that attached to the busted one. Get this or the proper case for your unit and you probably can avoid the shock of hearing the service department tell you the flat rate repair fee. This case is pretty good. Nice feel, a bit stiff but mine is softening up with time and use. It will so keep the screen from getting in to any danger roaming around in my backpack or briefcase. The pocket in the front is pretty useful also. As expected my unit slides in easy.

Pros: excellant quality and construction.
Cons: no "closeure feature" to secure unit in case.
Very good quality and features. Takes a short while to "break-in". Needs some sort of closure device on the open end. If you are not careful, GPS unit could fall out of case. Also the off/on switch of the GPS unit rubs on the inside of the case in a way that easily turns the GPS unit on in the case, without your knowledge, killing the battery.

The Nuvi fits into this case very well. The only issue I have, as has been stated in past reviews, is that sliding it into the case the wrong way (on/off switch up) can turn it on. In spite of knowing this I have on occasion put the Nuvi into the case incorrectly and used up the battery unnecessarily.
Perhaps the case design could be adjusted so the there is a notch in the side where the sliding button would go? Otherwise pleased with this product.

EXCELLENT CASE
I like this case as it fits my GPS unit very well. It protects the GPS when I am not using it. I store it in the compartment between the drivers and passenger seats, the case is firm and sturdy for when I keep it in my car or store it in a travel bag.

FITS LIKE A GLOVE, BUT......
This case fits like a glove and protects my Nuvi 750 very well. However, if you are not careful putting the Nuvi into the case, the on/off switch will slide and turn on the unit. I avoid problems by putting the nuvi in switch first so that it will not accidentally turn on. It may turn on when you extract it from the case but you will be doing that anyway assuming that you are taking it out to use it.
