Pros: does the job
Cons: the slip case should come with the gps purchase
I cracked the screen on the first Nuvi I owned. Buy the slip case and use it.

GREAT CASE FOR TRAVEL AND STORAGE.
Pros: good snug fit with protection during storage.
Cons: does not come back when lost.
Great protective case. I lost my original one while traveling. Anxiously awaiting the delivery of its replacement.
Recommend? YES

GARMIN NUVI LEATHER SLIP CASE IN WEB
Pros: fits well, good quality
Cons: could use more storage space for cord
Works very well. Fit is snug. Could use a big pocket for the cord.

FITS 1690 ALSO
Pros: secure fit
Cons: pocket doesn't hold much
This also fits the Nuvi 1690. Initially, it's a tight fit, but after a few minutes in there it stretches out a bit. Put it in with the power button side first so you don't turn it on when putting it in the case.

GARMIN NUVI LEATHER CASE
Pros: great value
Cons: little tight fit.
Great quality for the price. Initially very tight fit for my Garmin Nuvi 765T, but I'm sure it will loosen up with wear.
