GARMIN NUVI SUCTION MOUNT REPLACEMENT
Pros: prompt delivery, factory replacement

Being in a hurry, I left my Garmin suction mount in my rental car in N.B. No problem, I should be able to find them in any electronics store. Not! I was told at two of the bigger stores that it is very diffiult to find the U- shape part of the mount for my older Nuvi 1490 (one year old). You can buy adapter kits with every combination of mounts imaginable, but not the all-important part that actually fits the Nuvi 1490. I found GPS City on line and a few clicks later I found the right mount (made by Garmin) and ordered it. A few days later it was delivered. It is the exact replacement and works perfectly.

THE GARMIN NUVI 14XX SUCTION MOUNT
This is the same mount that is supplied in the box with the Nuvi. It is good to be able to buy the factory replacement,instead of the more expensive Ram Mount. Reason for buying was that I left the original mount in a rental car. The unit works well and I never have had a problem with it other than leaving it behind.

GREAT MOUNT!
Pros: best price i could find in canada.
Cons: none.
Exactly like the one that came with my Nuvi 1450LMT. Works really well and it was delivered in less than 2 days for $5.99 shipping!

THE ONLY ONE . . .
Pros: displays and holds in any position.
Cons: none other than costing a few bucks more.
Two cars and a motorhome - needed at least one more mount and checked what was available. This one may cost a few bucks more but it works 100% and is bulletproof.

MOUNT
Pros: i would recommend this site to anyone.
I lost my mount which makes it difficult to use in the car. I went on line and had it the next day. Very quick and easy without any hassel.

SAME AS THE FACTORY MOUNT
Pros: great if you like the original mount
Cons: not so great if you don't like the original mount
When in doubt, it's usually best to go with the same accessory as the one that came in the box with the product.
This mount is exactly that, at a better price.
