GARMIN NUVI 1200
Pros: provides many of the luxuries of larger garmins
Cons: only lasts for months
At first, I was happy about my adorable little Garmin. Until...fade to black, months later it died on me. Garmin should fix glitch and recall this product.

DIED AFTER 6 MONTHS
Pros: features when it worked
Cons: died. will not start up. no help for garmin
I have a NUVI 1200 that died after 6 months, Can not find receipt so Garmin will not help me. It a wide spread problem for this model (and others) which should have created a Recall. Very disappointed in Garmin.

BEST BANH FOR YOUR BUCK GPS!
Pros: has everything you need and easy to work!
Cons: none
I was so impressed with this unit I purchased six for each of my workers trucks! This unit does it all for anyone at any level. Also with great pricing and great service from GPS City, it's a win win for us!

SMALL GPS WITH LARGE FEATURES
Pros: speaks street names
Cons: usb cord and case not included
The Garmin 1200 is a small, inexpensive, GPS with most of the features of more costly GPS'. It speaks street names and gives good directions. It can be used on - road, off - road, or walking. Some of the accessories that come with other GPS' don't come with it. These include a case and USB cable. It does have a mini SD slot. It is a good inexpensive "starter" GPS.

SCREEN GOES DEAD
I was very happy at first with the performance on a recent trip to Denver from Albuquerque. But then the screen went black and died on our return drive back home. It will be replaced since it's been less than 30 days since it was shipped to me. But I am very disappointed not to have the Nuvi with me over the holiday period.
Recommend? NO OPINION

THIS GPS WORKS GREAT
I have a more expensive Garmin also. This little thing works great if you need directions. Value per dollar is outstanding.

TINY AND FAST!
Pros: fast!!!
I carry my nuvi 1200 on every trip I take into the city. It's small enough to fit in my purse but lets me view public transportation options in Chicago -- this is going to be a stocking stuffer for my sister.

BEST AUTOMOTIVE GPS
Pros: lightweight and thin
I just moved to a big city and the Garmin Nuvi 1200 is a lifesaver! It is accurate,quick, thin and loud. I don't leave the house without it..
