Using the Product Key on your lifetime card, you can log in and download up to four updates per year for the life of your compatible GPS unit. You will have access to multiple map updates each year for the life of your Garmin GPS. Each map update includes new information about streets, highways, addresses and points of interest. Map data is provided by NAVTEQ - the world leader in premium-quality mapping.
The nuMaps Lifetime card will work for all of the NT compatible Garmin units.
Please note this is not a software CD or DVD. This is the product key that allows use of data downloaded directly from Garmin's website.
This product is for NT compatible units only, and not for updating pre-loaded non-NT units.

GREAT VALUE!!
Great value compared to buying yearly updates.
Garmin has slow downloads (2 hours using cable modem) and 1.5 hr install time to nuvi. But this is minor compared to having your nuvi updated 4 times a year.
Pros: great value!
Cons: slow servers and time to update nuvi.
Recommend: YES

LIFETIME MAP UPDATES
I was new to the GPS game and believed that I was buying the Europe Map and a Lifetime of updates - wrong - this is only updates and the maps have to be purchased separately and the updates can only be used with one GPS device (i.e. not transferable). So realistically you may have your GPS device for up to 10yrs - well maps are not going to change much in 10yrs - so I see this as a complete waste of money!
