If the words ''no installation required'' make you happy, this is the mounting base for you.
This is a bean filled bag with flexible lead inside. The lead allows you to bend each of the 'wings' of the mount so it can wrap around the surface you are placing it on. With a dash mount screwed to the lead, you can attach your StreetPilot, ColorMap, StreetPilot III or Garmin Auto Mount to firmly hold your unit in place while still allowing you to find the perfect viewing angle.
The mounting base is included with the purchase of the StreetPilot series will connect directly to this base, not other purchase is required.
COMPATIBLE GARMIN GPS UNITS:
To connect Garmin GPS units to this mount, you require the corresponding unit Auto Mount. The only Garmin GPS unit this mount will not work with is the 12 series, as they do not have an auto mount. Click here to view all Garmin GPS Auto Mounts |
GARMIN BASE ALTERNATIVE:
The Auto Dash Mount Base is the black mount on top of the Friction Mount. It too is perfect for the second vehicle, the boat or even the bike (if you can find a flat surface). |
