GARMIN OEM PART
Pros: garmin oem part
Cons: doesn't have traffic receiver, which i didn't need
Does the job to provide power to my new Garmin 2595 in our second car. Keep in mind that this is Garmin's basic power cord and does not have the traffic receiver. But I purposely bought the lesser cord for the wife's car where we don't need the traffic receiver.

EXACTLY WHAT I NEEDED.
This cable works for my Garmin Nuvi 765. It allows me to use the mini USB plug when on my motorcycle. It works great.

PERFECT MATCH

I purchased this to replace a Garmin cable that was misplaced. It works as advertised, allowing the unit to charge while still being able to use the GPS. Many "universal" usb chargers will not allow you to charge the battery and use the unit at the same time. That is horrible inconvenient on long road trips.
The purchase and shipping were handled flawlessly and I had the cable within 36 hours.

ALREADY HAD THE SAME ITEM
Pros: it works great
Cons: looking for a different plug-in to the adapter
I thought that it was going to be a different plug-in then the one that came in the box. I was looking for the long plug in that fits into the back of the GPS from Garmin. This was the one that comes with the GPS. What I wanted was the plug-in from the back of the GPS. Thinking that the different hook-up might be a better connection than I'm getting now with the original one that comes in the box.

OEM CIGARETTE LIGHTER ADAPTER

I’m always skeptical when a vendor states that it’s an OEM part that is considerably less than other retailers. This was my first purchase from gpscity and it won’t be my last. The part arrived in less time than they estimated and it was the original OEM part in the OEM box.
