INLAND LAKES OF BC IS NOT WORTH IT
Cons: poor or no detail for many of the big lakes
I bought this thinking that it would provide some help and safety while out on Lake Okanagan. The detail is so poor it would be dangerous to use. No navigation lights, 50 foot water depth increments, no marinas, does not show the islands in the lake or the floating bridge that crosses the lake at Kelowna. I have used garmin charts on the caost and found the detail to be excelent but this was an expencive disapointment.

LITTLE INLAND LAKES B.C.
Pros: can not think of any Cons: high prices, poor quality maps, waste of money 2/10
Where is Shuswap Lake, Mara, Adams,Williston Mable Lake etc. Little Swan lake in Vernon is on map But not huge Shuswap or Mabel or Williston Lake.?????WTF? Asking $129.99 for this. CMON Garmin, You expect us poor to pay $500-$650.00 for hand held plus maps and you do not provide our largest most travelled lakes in the province.YOU SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF YOURSELF. RECALL these cards and add the missing lakes or give the maps for free.Thats about all there worth.

GARMIN INLAND LAKES BRITISH COLUMBIA
Pros: are you kidding! Cons: waste of money.
There are no depth contours for Kootenay or Kookanusa lakes, so what is the point of having this.......I get the same with the Garmin road maps! Don't waste your money on the BC Lake maps.

MORE LAKE MAPPING
I wish I could load it to my map source program in case I was to lose my chip. I was also disappointed it didn't have some of the larger lake maps I thought would have been included.

BE CAREFUL
Pros: excellent detail, ease of use Cons: missing lakes
The included maps are excellent, make sure your favorite bodies of water are on the list to avoid disapointment. Some of the larger and more popular bodies of water are not covered.

SOME MAJOR OVER SIGHTS!
Pros: not much Cons: to many to mention.
It is hard to understand why Garmin did not include any navigational information for all most all the large inland lakes in British Columbia. No information for Quesnel, Kootenay, Kinbasket, Adams and Mabel lake to name a few and scant information on lakes like Arrow. It is not like they did not have charting information to go by. I mean they did get the most of the information from the government of British Columbia. Moreover, and the information they did incredibly poor. For example Garmin did not even include the Revelstoke Dam on Arrow Lake. So unless you have a Garmin unit with charting capabilities I would not buy this map as you can get the same information off of Garmin’s topographical map of B.C.
