This item was just what I was looking for to compliment my GPSMAP 60CSx. it's robust and well engineered.

POOR MOUNT
Cons: hard to install gps, hard to remove gps
Very poor. Hard to install GPSMAP 60. Harder to remove. Doesn't want to stay attached to window.

GOOD SUCTION MOUNT
Pros: suction cup seems very strong.
But, too bad it is illegal to attach to your windshield in CA. I am gong to buy the bean bag that required this anyways and see if that works.

Pros: quality is there
Cons: would be nice if holder would swivel right or left
They really thought this one out,GPS fits well in the holder and fits well on the windshield of my Truck.

GREAT
Cons: can't use lighter plugin at same time
Works fine but could not use it on the window in my car. Not enough room so mounted on dash. Can see fine and works great

HANDY UNIT
Pros: well built, clever device.
Cons: of limited use while driving.
Works fine with my Garmin 60CSx. But handheld screens are small and difficult to read, so it is of limited use when driving, except for keeping the unit in contact with satellites. (You'll still have to pull it out of the mount to read it.)

Pros: leaves a small print on window. easy to set and us
Cons: wish it swiveled to left or right a little
This is the one for me. I have a plastic dash and as the Garmin is plastic on the bottom guess where the Garmin was. Well this is the cats meow. It suctions just under the mirror and the bottom rests on the dash so it can't fall. A small heads up..Don't forget to wipe the ring on the window as it is a sure invite for thieves. My son knows as there was $2000 damage to his car. GPS's are a hot commodity.

ALSO GREAT WITH THE BIKE RING !
Pros: small, easy and quick too install.
Cons: weaker suction power than a ram mount.
I've bought this suction mount for my car and it didn't let me down. I also bought the bike handlebar adapter and I simply detach the cradle and voila ! Ready for some bicycle geocaching.
If you're more likely to mountain bike, I'd suggest you go for the ram mount cradles. Just for the added security.
Make sure that the suction cup and the windshield are warm enough in winter. Mine fell off once or twice.

GREAT MOUNT
Pros: stays stuck. easy to release. easy to adjust.
Cons: none.
Bought the 'Garmin GPSMAP 60 Auto Mount with City Select USA CD Kit (010-10458-00)' when 'Garmin GPSMAP 60CSx' was new in '06. Took it to Italy in '07 and worked great, but that mount weighs a bit with the sand bag type base. Now, have the 'Garmin GPSMAP 60 Suction Mount (010-10457-00)' to go to England & Scotland in summer '09. Have used it already, and it works even better, and lighter. Was curious whether it would stay stuck, when I wanted, and would release when I wanted. IT DOES BOTH! Easy to position next to rear view mirror and easy to store when not in vehicle. Highly recommend!
