GARMIN GPSMAP 60 AUTO MOUNT
The adhesive did not work on my dash. I got some 3M 1/8" thick double sided foam tape to get it to work on my dash. I think that the problem was that there is a slight curvature on my dash and I needed a thicker foam so that the tape could remain flat on the Garmin base and still conform to the dash for good adhesion.
Recommend? NO OPINION

THEY'VE CHEAPENED IT UP
Pros: i like the intent and functionality
Cons: i dislike how it feels cheaper this time around
I had purchased this item before and loved it. Someone stole my GPS and the mount so I purchased the same mount again. This time I'm not as happy. The mount is flimsy now and the friction designed into the mount through the use of plastic cleats is almost non existent so the GPS tips over on its side when you hit bumps in the road. Real frustrating. I don't know of any other similar mounts to compare this to.
Recommend? NO OPINION

Great idea but it doesn't lend itself to mounting well on a Toyota FJ40 with it's small dashboard. I suppose if I were to have a larger dash surface it'd be differely. The FJ40 has a small area that puts the GPS unit directly in the sunlight.
