 E-Trex 20 / Ram Mount 1 | | | | | |
|
I've had my E-Trex 20 for a couple of months now and found it to be a very reliable devise. I purchased it with the Ram Mount system for the E-Trex 20 but found once I went to install it, that the Ram Mount would not fit the devise because there was no room for the power supply cable once it was plugged into the devise.
I improvised and turned the ram mount up-side-down, used a few hand tools to modify the mount and now it works perfectly fine. I will purchase a new ram mount once it becomes available for the E-Trex 20. |

| RAM MOUNT DESIGN FOR APPLE IPOD |

|
I wanted to mount my iPod in my car the same way I mount my Garmin GPS using RAM mounts. I also wanted to be able to mount the iPod to my desk while at work.
I used the following parts to assemble the mount in the attached pictures.
1 ea - RAM Mount 3.25" dia Locking Suction Cup Base - Part # RAP-224-1U
1 ea - Double 1.75" Suction and Plastic Standard Arm Assembly - Part # RAP-B-148U
My 60 GB Video iPod is in a Speck Products case. These plastic cases have a smooth nonporus back that can hold suction. The suction cups could also be mounted directly to the back of the iPod whick is also smooth and nonporus.
Thanks for the great products and great service. |

| RAM FLEX SUCTION MOUNT ON NISSAN TRUCK WINDSHIELD |
|
|
This is a picture of the RAM suction cup, flex Garmin 48 mount that I purchased from GPSCity. I could not have asked for a better mount. I can position it for right hand or left hand use while driving and the controls are easy to reach and the display easy to see while not taking my eyes off of my driving. With the flex neck I can position it to get it right in the sweet spot. The most amazing thing was the cheap price from GPSCity.com and the great shipping. When I get my next GPS I am going to be shopping at GPSCity again! I might even add a mount for my palm PDA and interface it to the GPS. Not using the GPS for anything other than fun while driving and maybe a little Geocaching now and then. Mounted in a 97 Nissan Truck XE |
