In todays age everyone seems to want things compacted into one unit. That is well and good until one part of the unit breaks down. When you have repairs made you lose all (ei. depthfinder, plotter, ect.) The view screen is also larger which helps it to be seen from a distance. If you have room for another uint this is well worth the money. I have two unirs, one at the driving console and one by my trolling motor.
