NEW 301 MONITOR DOESN'T WORK WITH VINTAGE 301
I had to switch back to my very old 301 because of a fault with my new Garmin. But the HR monitor/broadcaster is long gone, so I bought a new one. It does not work - I guess because my old 301 is, well, old.

EXACTLY WHAT I WAS LOOKING FOR
I had almost dispaired to the point of conceeding I would have to buy myself a full new GPS unit and new heart rate monitor, just to replace my existing unreliable heart rate monitor with the badly stretched strap.
This product was exactly what I was after, was at a good price, and was delivered to me in Australia exactly as described - in perfect working order. It even came with a battery!
